Do you have any motivation to work on your cooking techniques or are you satisfied with your level right now?

There is a friend I have that any time I eat her food I am always moved by the magic she uses to make her food to taste so delicious. She always inspire my desire to improve on my cooking skills. I know I cook well some times and sometimes I do not like the taste of what I cooked as food I must be honest.

I see cooking as a skill that one must be open to learning as there are diverse techniques to cook the same food to have a different taste. To have an enticing taste one must be open to learning and improvement.

What becomes your weak point when you face cooking?

Cooking needs a lot of hard work. That is ranging from going to the market to buy the food stuff to returning from the market to prepare things for the main cooking. So,z for me my weak point is in preparing the things to be cooked, I see it as a very tedious task because one will need to walk back and forth to wash, cut, steam etc. It becomes more tedious if I am hungry and needs to eat from the cooked food. So, if I do not have any assistance, I will quietly do my thing. If I am cooking soup I first make the garri so that immediately the soup is ready I can start eating.

Share with us that chef that inspires you to try out new dishes

The chef that inspires me to try new dishes is that my friend who motivates me a lots. She is Chef Goodness. It's been long I visited her. Any time I visit her I am always sure of learning how to prepare new dishes. The last time I visited her I learned how to prepare rice and stew in a different way. I always have something new to learn from her.

Have you ever engaged in any cooking competition? If yes, share with us, and if no, do you ever think you will be among the best 3 if competition arises?

I have never engaged in any cooking competition before. I think if I should contest I will be among the first 3, that is for my local dishes. I do not know how to prepare the contemporary dishes. I am open to learning and will create time to learn how to prepare the contemporary dishes.
