The Diary Game #42: Attending a meetup as a newbie for the first time on 02/06/2024

Hello everyone in this great community, I'm here to participate for the first time in this contest, I am @poolee from Nigeria.

I remember growing up as a child especially when I was still in high school, I had a special book that I kept aside to be writing some occurrences or important and notable dates concerning my life which I termed as "my diary"
In which if I can't relate or tell it to someone,but I'll definitely feel free to communicate them into my diary.

So on that note, I want to share with us the activities that took place in my life on 02/06/2024 which was a Sunday.

I was very sick since the previous day which was Saturday and I was actually on some medication, so that Sunday I woke up feeling weak that I couldn't make it to church coupled with the heavy rain that fell, so I was extremely cold that I coiled myself back in bed, watching my sister preparing for church. After she left, I managed to picked myself up from the bed enter kitchen to boil water so as to take my bath, after I finished taking my bath I prepared a little thing to eat, although I didn't have any appetite for food but I had to forced myself so that I could take my medication. After the medication I climbed the bed again, that was how I slept till my sister came back from church; I guess I must have slept for so long maybe from the effect of the drugs because it has some anegesic content.

So my sister had to wake me asking if I was relieved a bit, and if I could make it to the meetup and I said yes because I was just tired of lying down since morning. So I got up and looked for something to wear to the meetup, then we finished dressing and headed to the location.

On entering inside I met some steemians already seated our host @mesola, I was privileged to meet our mama @ngoenyi for the first, some other steemians in attendance were @missyleo @llooluv @newekemini5, @ekemini001 @patienceukanah those are the usernames I could remember.

The meeting started with introduction; our mama @ngoenyi asked us our username and when we joined steemit, then after that she went ahead to adviced us on the rules and regulations govern the platform and also intimated us about the new development concerning newbies; that it takes a month now for an introduction post to be verified, that the want to monitor and observe if truly the account is genuine, after which the newbies will write a review about their experiences from the platform. She went ahead to admonished us to desist from using AI to generate post which is termed as plagiarism, that it is a serious offense on the Steemit platform

Then while the lecture was going on our host @mesola got the plates and the spoons in action

She served us with a delicious mouth watering delicacies of white rice and chicken sauce to stepped it down with a chilled soft drink

While we were eating mama ngoenyi was still rolling out the guidelines to us, we were asked to ask questions on areas we don't understand, so many questions were thrown at her and she answered all perfectly well to our understanding with clear explanation, I must say weldone ma'am you did well.
The meeting ended around pass 7pm, after we all ate to our satisfaction. We then did to thy tent oh Israel 😀. We took group photograph
