The Diary Game: Spending My Off Day At Home (Thursday 10th Oct, 2024)

Hello everyone, I am @Purpleidy23 and this is my first time of posting here. I promised you all a diary of my everyday activities and I'm here today to fulfill that promise.

I woke up today feeling down and weak, I just knew I had to give myself a break. While struggling to get out of bed around 9:am (W.A.T), I received a call from my company's driver saying our transit is faulty and he's at the mechanic workshop trying to repair it and he may not meet up with work today. I was so excited to receive the good news so immediately told him that he should take all the time he needs to fix the vehicle.

I finally got out of bed, did some domestic chores and stepped out to get snacks for breakfast, yes, i didn't want to eat much so i resorted to snacks.

On getting home, I met my roomie who just returned from a 2-day vacation with her man. I was overwhelmed with joy because my days of sleeping at home alone were over. I invited her to join me have breakfast but she declined saying she's eaten already and satisfied.

I was so happy because I'd enjoy the shawarma alone and finally satisfy my craving (please don't say I'm stingy because I know vividly I'm not alone on this table. Inviting someone to come eat with you, whereas, you're just praying in your heart to get a 'No, thank you' as an answer), just as as i was eating the shawarma, i saw my roomie eating from the pot, this was just so funny to me, but girl like her.

After the breakfast, we (my roomie, her man and I) dived into conversation about trending topics in our country, hardship and a possible way of survival. Few hours into the conversation, I was dozing off and I finally got to have a nap after a long time and it felt good but was surprised to see the pictures in my gallery cos I wasn't expecting it and when I asked my roommate about the pictures, she said she wants me to see how gorgeous I looked while sleeping.

I spent the whole of my afternoon sleeping and resting, I deserve it my friends because these days I have been working myself out, thanks to the faulty bus else I wouldn't have gotten a day off today. So my afternoon was just me and my bed as well as gisting with my roomie.

Around 6pm, I went to Stay with Landlord son because the house was becoming boring and my roomie had stepped out to go buy some stuffs for dinner, he was with his dog and me I don't really like dogs because I do get scared easily by their barking.

When my roomie came back, I went back in to help her out in the kitchen and when we were done eating, I took my evening bath and then called the driver to know the condition of the bus and he told me it was now okay, so I informed other of my colleagues then took my phone to vote and go through other people's write ups then began to write my diary, after this, i will just get to bed and that will be all for today.
