I really like making Gaja at home and my family and I love to eat this fresh homemade sweet. So today I am going to present to you how I make this Gaja at home in a homely way. The ingredients that I used to make this Gaja are,

✏️ Flour -500 grams
✏️ Sugar -300 grams
✏️ Oil -250 grams
✏️ Salt as needed
✏️ Water as needed
✏️ Knife
✏️ Piri

This time I will describe the steps to you through my work.

Step 1

In the first step, I took some oil and salt in a bowl.

Step 2

Then I took 500 grams of flour in the bowl. And mixed all the ingredients together. After kneading, the mixture will come to this position.

Step 3

Then I will complete the kneading of the flour dough by adding water little by little.

Step 4

In this step, I will add some black cumin seeds to the dough because they are added at the beginning of the dough kneading process. But I did not think to add them at the beginning, which is why I added them at this moment and kneaded the dough again nicely and covered the dough with a bowl for half an hour.

Step 5

Now I cut small pieces of dough from the dough and flattened them with my hands into a long shape.

Step 6

This time, I will cut each piece into this shape according to my specific shape. After cutting, my dish is full.

Step 7

In this step, I will pour all the oil into a pot and then when it is hot, I will add the required amount of gajjas in the oil and fry them until the gajjas turn brown.

Step 8

I will take a pot to make sugar syrup, pour 300 grams of sugar in that pot with a little water and continue to make sugar syrup. When it thickens, I will pour the curds and stir for about a minute and remove the curds. This is how I make my favorite recipe sometimes and feed my family.

I also like this recipe but due to being oily I make it very rarely. It is known as shakkarpare in our place.😍
Best wishes for the contest.

Assalamu Alaikum, Apu. I really liked your Gaja recipe. The pictures and description are so beautiful that it feels like I’m standing in the kitchen myself. I love Gaja, and it's a must-have item whenever I visit fairs. I have saved your recipe, and In Sha Allah, I will try making it. Best wishes.

Thank you very much for liking my recipe. Of course, the food is very delicious to eat. You can try it at home. This Gaja stays crunchy for a long time. A sweet that sticks to your mouth.
