Tell your story #18(Happy Birthday To My Sister)

Hello Lovely Ladies

How's your day day going? Mine has been great and I thank God for everything. I have always wanted my sister's birthday this year to be memorable and it finally came last week and became memorable. My story goes today is about how my younger sister's birthday went. I thank @ruthjoe for organizing this contest.

My younger sister's birthday

On Friday which was the 18th day of October 2024, my younger sister became 12 years old. Luckily for her that day was my off day and that gave me enough opportunity to spend quality time with her. I gave her doughnut to take to school that day, it was a very big doughnut worth more than 2 steem and I bought it from my place of work that morning while escorting her to school.

Sue came back from school on time as school normally close early on Fridays and she got prepared for church, I gave her one biscuit to eat because food wasn't available that moment and we need to go for October devotion in the church on time. Exactly 4pm we left the house and headed straight to the church then we saw only one woman and we just decided to pray with the rosary since much people didn't turn up.

It was my sister's birthday and she said she wants to go to church that day, assuming we didn't go then that woman would have been the only one in the church and that's bad. We finished prayers and took pictures of then we headed straight to my place of work that evening to buy some things. My colleagues were happy to see me, I told them is my sister's birthday and we ordered for so many things I even served her myself since that's where I work.

I paid all the bills too, I didn't take anything for free just because is my place of work. My sister was very happy and everyone present were happy for her. Done customers also came to buy things and they expressed their admiration in what was going on. My sister ate rice and fried plantain then after that she also ate meat pie. She hardly eat these things because of the high cost of things in Nigeria so I decided to give her that opportunity on her birthday.

We bought ice cream and licked it together, my colleagues were saying she will get fat by force that am showing her too much love that moment, so funny indeed. My sister deserve such treatment as long as I was only doing it on her birthday. We went home with one shawarma and my elder brother contributed for the shawarma just to assist me and my parents and siblings ate it happily even though it was too small for 6 people to share and we sang birthday song for my sister.
