"Tell your Story #22" - spider

Hello dear ladies! Today I am again taking part in a wonderful competition that holds @ruthjoe in the sorority Steem For Ladies. The rules are quite simple, you need to tell a story that happened in life. Tell the story and the conclusions that are drawn from this story.

This story began on a sunny morning when I decided to spend time with my daughter, my friend and her son. We all gathered at the spider exhibition, which was rumored around the city — incredible, unusual creatures that caused many, including me, not at all childish fear.

As we approached the entrance, my heart was pounding in unison with nervous excitement. I remembered my fear of spiders—they seemed creepy and dangerous to me. But I understood that my daughter needed to be shown that even adults can overcome their fears. I wanted to be an example to her.

At the exhibition, we were greeted by bright aquariums filled with spiders of various species. We walked past aquariums several times, where there were exotic spiders, lizards and even scorpions. It was at this moment that the thought came to me: if I don't try to overcome my fear, then how can I explain to my daughter that in life you often need to go beyond your comfort zone?

A friend suggested that we pick up some of the inhabitants of the exhibition. At first I was horrified by this idea, but I remembered that our children were next to us. I understood that this would be a wonderful opportunity to teach children courage and humility in front of nature.

Finally, I decided. We went to the counter where there was a huge spider. Squeezing my hands tightly, I took it in my palms. It was unbearably scary, but at that moment I heard the enthusiastic cries of the children who saw me take this step.

The spider was placed in my arms, and I felt its light weight. My fears gradually dissipated, giving way to curiosity. I noticed my hands were shaking, but the longer the spider stayed in my arms, the more I realized that it wasn't that scary. I looked at him and thought about how much relief I had brought myself by giving up my preconceived notions.

When I returned the spider to its place, I felt incredibly proud that I had overcome my fear. I smiled at my daughter and saw her looking at me proudly. We will remember this moment — after all, I did not just raise a spider, I taught my daughter that courage and openness to new things always bear fruit.

We spent a few more hours at the exhibition, and I picked up a few more spiders and even scorpions. Every time I picked them up, I felt my fear go away, leaving room for confidence and interest. I realized that fear is just an emotion, and overcoming it, you can discover new facets of life.

When I left the exhibition, I felt that I had become different. I not only overcame my fear of spiders, but also taught my daughter how important it is to be brave and open to new experiences. This day was a lesson for us about how important it is to step towards the unknown together and share this experience with our loved ones.
