Today I have to tell a real incident from my life to participate in this competition, and coincidentally it is based on "Oxygen". So I have chosen Oxygen as my topic today.

The breath of life runs on oxygen, but we humans have modernized, and by doing excessive construction, snatched greenery from nature, thereby reducing the amount of oxygen in the environment. In present times, indiscriminate construction work, widening of roads, increasing number of vehicles, smoke coming out of industries, have almost killed our life-giving oxygen. We humans have destroyed the boon of nature for our personal interests. We are constantly moving towards destruction.

I had no idea how important oxygen is for breathing in life. But when the second variant of the corona virus came to our country in the year 2021, it took a terrible form. In every corner of India, in every city, in every house, there was definitely some patient suffering from corona.

And unfortunately my wife and my young son also fell prey to it, initially it was treated like a simple viral fever, in those days doctors in hospitals, private hospitals started avoiding contacting patients and treating them. We were also getting news of someone from our relatives, friends, visitors dying due to corona every day.

All my time and that of my daughter-in-law was spent in taking care of the two patients at home. My son's disease was not very contagious, but this disease had a great impact on my wife's lungs. On the 5th day, she started having trouble breathing, I checked her oxygen level and it was 65 percent saturation. Whereas the oxygen saturation of a normal person should be at least 92-95.

There was a scramble for oxygen cylinders and oxygen supply at all places in the city, there was little hope of getting it from anywhere. The doctors had told me that my wife's chances of survival were very low. I was very worried, then a friend of mine told me that the manager of a Gurudwara (Sikh temple) is giving free oxygen to the people. When I went to him, as a boon from God, he gave me an oxygen concentrator instead of a cylinder, this machine produces fresh oxygen from the air of the atmosphere.

Just after installing this machine, my wife's oxygen level started coming up and she recovered in about 15 days.

This machine costs about 7000 steams in the market. And after using the machine, I returned it to the Gurudwara management committee, and forcibly donated Indian currency equivalent to about 1500 steams to them so that they can help more patients and save their lives.

This incident made me understand the need of oxygen in our lives and the importance of humanity even more.

And after this, I myself bought an oxygen concentrator and placed it in my son's office and publicized that if anyone needs it, he can take this machine from us for free use. And many patients took advantage of it and blessed us.

Thanks for reading my post .

Hello sur-riti, thank you for the invitation, how good you managed to quickly solve the breathing problem that your wife had, also in my country Venezuela there was a lot of oxygen crisis, the hospitals and medical clinics did not have it and many people died because they did not have it. the resources to buy.

Hello friend,
That time was very terrible, there was a scene of death everywhere, in every house you look, there were people suffering from corona and people were dying. There was a shortage of medicines, oxygen and many necessary injections.
Thank you for visiting my post.

Felicidades

Hola mi nuevo amigo,

Oxygen is very crucial for life, as you penned. And obviously it is "us" who demage the availability for the sake of our luxurious life. That's unjust for our upcoming generations and for humanity.... The corona period was very difficult for everyone. I'm glad you managed oxygen condenser for your wife. And finally you put a condenser for ordinary people in the office, which is the best way of gratitude. Overall, this real story is very heart touching. Thank you for sharing with us.

Hello my friend,

You have reappeared after a long gap, your comments are also good, it is true that the Corona period gave us tough experiences of life. But such times are the real test of life.

Thank you, stay happy, stay cool,

Wow this is amazing. Thanks for extending hands to others to also make use of oxygen in your office. Oxygen is part of us and it very important in our daily life. But then, it also emulate some disadvantage in human body if in excess. It likely affects the lungs. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much my dear friend for reading my post and also for nice comment.
