Tell your story#20: My crayfish business

Greetings and happy new week to the great people of this amazing community, I hope you are having a great and productive day.

I am still your friend @tripple-e and I welcome you all to my blog.
And I also appreciate @ruthjoe for organizing.

If you are a typical Nigerian you will agree with me that you need upto 5 to 10 multiple streams of income as a family man/woman no exaggeration o in order to survive now😀.

That's how I was sitting one day, then I heard a voice very clear in my right ear not the left ear asking me "my daughter can you steal"? Then I answered "No" my Lord 😀 and the voice asked again "Can you do runs to survive"?, in this present economy of your country and again I responded No daddy.
And the voice added "even if you want to tour these parts, they will catch you and you will surely fall a victim, then I responded to the voice by saying God forbids.

Then I started contemplating on what kind of business to do to earn extra money; then I thought about selling clothes but my thoughts caution me saying "young lady in times like these most people are trying to survive, they don't really care about new clothes.

Ah! I asked so what do you suggest I do and He said "My daughter sell crayfish from Oron". (Well "oron" is one of the LGA Areas in my state, Akwa ibom where all the sea foods come from and the crayfish gotten from is always very tasty and delicious when using it to cook.)
So I was like CRAYFISH? amongst all the thousands of things to sell why crayfish na..

You may be wondering why I'm sounding like that. Hmmmm my people it is because of the wonderful aroma of crayfish, I was like I'll be smelling crayfish and my room will be smelling crayfish too.
And worst thing is that anyone I mentioned to that I want to sell crayfish would just say one thing just to discourage me. Like "Emily selling of crayfish is meant for older women not a business for a young lady like you but I'd just called it bluff and laugh over it🤣🤣.

But I didn't pay attention to side talks because I was determined to sell crayfish, so I went into the market made enquiry on the prices and mode of operandi, then I was good to start the business with the help of my church member who's also doing the business.

Now my darlings I carry my market on my head because it is what put food on my table.
