Introduction

Things that make me happy do not cost alot but is all about the outcome and determination.

I am inviting @ruthjoe, @dequeen, and @elainy to participate in this contest.


What are the five things that have consistently brought joy and happiness into your life, and why do they hold such significance for you?"

  2. Good food
  3. Giving
  4. Contentment
  5. Recreation
  1. Exercise: Regular exercise makes me happy because it improves my mood. The reason why I usually feel happy during and after exercise is that physical activity stimulates many chemicals in the brain, and as a result of that, it usually leaves me feeling happier, less anxious, and relaxed. When I looked at the way I appeared as a result of regular exercise, I usually feel happy and want to do more. Looking good boost my confidence and improve my self esteem and that is the reason I have resume my regular exercise and the result is amazing.

  1. Good food: I came to recover that good food makes me happy. For me, good food gives me long-lasting mental health along with physical health.
    Good food makes me look healthy a d when I notice that I am healthy, I usually feel so good about it, which results in lasting happiness.

  1. Act of kindness: Giving makes me happy. When I see the smiling faces and joy that radiate in the faces of those I extend an act of kindness to, I usually feel good and happy too. In fact, I used to feel happier than the people who received the gifts.
    When people express their gratitude about an act of kindness they receive from me, this usually makes me happy and want to do more. It's usually leaves me with the sense of belonging and thinking of ways to make the world a better place and purposeful.

  1. Contentment: Anyone who is not contented with what she has will not be happy. The reason is that she is not satisfied and will always want more. Such a person will begin to envy other people, and an envious people is not always happy.
    When we are contented with what we have, we will have the feeling of satisfaction, and these feelings lead to happiness.
  1. Recreation: Spending quality time with family and friends outside our homes makes me happy.
    Recreation is one of my happiness hacks because it reduces stress and helps me feel relaxed and regain enough energy.
    Since recreation helps me to have good sleep and good sleep in turn, it brings happiness and the feeling of satisfaction.

When I am out with families and friends visiting places and having good times, I create memories that are not easily forgotten.


"In times of stress or adversity, how do these sources of happiness help you maintain a positive outlook on life?"
  • Exercise regularly fights stress and helps me maintain a healthy and positive outlook. It keeps me in good shape and realises that I look good, bringing me joy and happiness.

  • Good food makes my heart rejoice and, at the same time, do not remember any form of stress that I have been through. With good food, I usually forget about my worries and concentrate on the positive side of life.

  • An act of kindness made me realise that no matter my situations or the conditions I am in or passing through, I can still be helpful to people. That a lot of people need what I have and when I give a little act of kindness, I usually feelins happy and maintain a positive outlook.

  • Being contented with what I have helps me to maintain a positive outlook in times of adversity. With contment, I will not be overwhelmed with stress and adversity.

  • Recreation offers me the opportunity not to dwell with my stressful life and leaves my worries behind. It creates in me that inner peace that to others watching me play and laugh may feel that I have no problem in life.

There is more happiness in giving than there is receiving, so learn to carry out a little act of kindness and feel the happiness that comes from it. It's not a bad idea to receive a gift, but the happiness you will get when you are the giver surpasses the happiness you get when you are at the receiving end.

Happiness is actually something which we can decide to have it and how we want it to be. We also do not need to depend on someone to be happy.

Act of kindness happens to be my favourite happy moment. It gives me supper joy reaching out to someone in need even when I don't have. I feel fulfilled at that moment. Recreation and exercises is actually good too for the heal.

Sure, we don't need to depend on someone to be happy, if we do, they will disapoint us one day.
