Let's talk about Steemit...

How long have you been on the Steemit platform?

1. I kicked off my journey on this platform three years ago, back in December 2021. A good friend of mine introduced me to Steemit and shared all the amazing things about it. At first, I was a bit hesitant to sign up because I couldn’t wrap my head around the idea of getting paid just for writing.

Eventually, I gathered the courage to join and went back to him for some guidance on what to do next. He was super helpful, and I managed to get signed up without a hitch.

I didn’t dive into blogging right away since I had some other commitments to handle first. I gave it a shot briefly but then stepped away. It wasn’t until this year, 2024, that I really came back and committed to blogging.

Do you like to participate in competitions or are you not one of those who participate in this type of dynamics?

Absolutely, I really love competition! It's all about showcasing your smarts. I enjoy going head-to-head with others to see where I stand in terms of skills, strengths, and areas I need to improve.

I’d much rather jump into a competition than just sit back and watch. It’s like when I participate in contests here; we call them contests, but they’re just the same as competitions.

In any contest, there’s always one winner. Understanding my strengths and weaknesses helps me get ready for the next round.

Have you participated in the dynamics of the SEC-S20 courses, tell us about your experience?

SEC is an amazing way through which users engage in so many entries which is like a competition to win some cool $.

I have participated just once and that was because this season 20, I had so much to do offline and so it didn't give me the time and opportunity to participate.

The one I participated was amazing. It's about my business ideas. I was able to share some of my business ideas and also learnt from others how to improve my business. It was such a nice experience.

Although the teachers gave a detailed teaching on the topic and their feedback was encouraging.

Who has been that new Steemians that you are interacting with lately?

Well just like me, I am interacting with a friend @kelzdon. He's a new Steemian that just recently joined the platform. He has joined this platform through the help of his friend @ninapenda.

I only interact with him on steemit related matters so that we can know how to help each other. Although he has been off since he joined due to some challenges but I'm sure he will return soon.

What topics are you proposing for a contest?

Since it's the ladies community, I would propose;

• Relationship and communication

• Family and motherhood

• Romantic relationships and dating

• Setting boundaries

Who is the moderator you admire the most and why?

It is @ninapenda, I admire her passion to write. She has been on this platform 2020 and since then she has been active. She's such an amazing fellow that loves to help. She has given me the help that I needed to survive on this platform.

I admire her because she's beautiful, hard working, and a brainiac. Have you visited her blog before? If no, try and visit her blog because she always have something interesting there.

Did I tell you that she's a very strong lady that can write about five entries in a day. She's multitasking, a moderator and talented too. She also a chef and more. These qualities are all I admire about Ninapenda.

Would you like to be a moderator on the Steemit platform?

To the best of my knowledge, I believe for someone to be a moderator on this platform, the person has to be very active and always available.

Well, even though I desire to be a moderator some day, I can't be because I am not all available to work as a moderator but I am sure to be one day.
