A lovely evening to my steamit community, it's another great day to take some seconds and appreciate God's wonderful work in your life. I trust the day was blessed and fruitful.
It's saturday and saturdays are always for rest but trust me when I say mine was cumbersome.Dive with me as we tour my Saturday activities.
My Morning Activities
18/11/23 happened to be different from every other saturdays because the past saturdays has always been a resting day for me, unlike today which I woke up to piles of responsibilities.
I woke up a bit late today at about 8:47Am, guess I was having sweet dreams which I ain't aware of. I communicated with my heavenly father and after that proceeded to carrying out my chores which includes fetching water and cooking, although the weather wasn't friendly, I didn't fail to wash my clothes as piling up dirty clothes irritates me a lot.
After laundering, I made out time to take my bath and after that, I brought out the foodstuffs I sent my younger sister and started preparations. I went for something simple which was melon with egg as protein.
Don't mind the mountain of eba, I personally eat for a living.
My Afternoon Activities
On finishing the meal, my next target was to successfully make my sister's hair. Trust me this took a lot of time as there are procedures to be followed such as the cutting,arranging,oiling and brushing before the actual braiding takes place. This alone took my entire afternoon
My Evening Activities
Not sooner did I finish with the hair when my sister pleaded to use my face for her make up model, I couldn't have said no (one of the perks of being an elder sister)
In the short while she took to set her working tools, I dozed off due to how tired I was, she had to wake me up with a tap.
She began with wiping my face,shaping and drawing my brows, foundation application,contouring and highlighting where necessary,and every other craftwork she did on my face added up to give me this look
Considering how I was looking, I decided to treat myself to my favorite meal rice and yes I prepared it myself, my delicious palm oil rice.
