Cooking tutorial : Vegetable polau💚

How are you ladies?? Hope all of my dear steemian friends are very well and happy by the grace of Almighty Krishna and so am I. I am here again to share a beautiful recepie with you. Today I am going to share a nice and delicious vegetable polau recepie that obviously will give you enjoyment. Hope you all like this today's cooking tutorial so much. So let's starting cooking the veg polau without delay...


REQUIRED INGREDIENTS

Rice300 gm
CauliflowerAs needed
BeansAs needed
PotatoesAs desired
PumpkinAs desired
Oil3 tsp
Cinnamon3-4 small pieces
Cardamom3-4
Bay leaves2-3
Salt2 tsp
Turmeric powder1.5 tsp
Mixed hot spice1.5 tsp
Seasoning spices1/2 tsp
WaterAs needed
Ghee/clarified butter1 tsp
Green chilli6-7
CorianderAs needed


PROCEDURE
STEP 1
Thoroughly wash the rice and keep these in a strainer to remove the extra water.

STEP 2
Cut the vegetables into small pieces and wash well. Place a pan on the stove and let it dry. Pour oil in the pan and add the cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaves in the hot oil. Then add the chopped vegetables in the pan and mix well.

STEP 3
Add the salt, turmeric powder, chopped green chilli and mixed hot spice and mix. Fry the vegetables until the color becomes light brown.

STEP 4
Now place another pan on the stove and pour small amount of oil or ghee in the pan. Add the soaked rice in the oil and mix well. Fry the rice for four minutes and then pour required quantity of water. Heat the rice for several minutes until boiling. After boiling of several minutes cover the rice in low heat.

STEP 5
When the rice is almost cooked add the fried vegetables and the chopped coriander in the rice and mix well. Then add desired quantity of ghee and mix nicely.

This delicious veg polao is ready to serve now. You can add other types of vegetables if you like. I have served the polau with delicious eggplant fries and cabbage-potato fry. The combination of all of these was awesome. Hope you all like this recepie so much and must try this at home.
