Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

We have arrived at the weekend once again and that means Caturday, my favorite day of the week!

Of course, I have some nice Hoomans who live in my house, and they make sure that almost every day feels like Caturday around here. But even so, it's nice to have one special day where people everywhere post pictures of their favorite feline friends!

It has been a fairly quiet week around our place. We have reached that middle-to-late part of summer around our part of the world and we can tell that the seasons are slowly changing because the sun sets earlier and it's not quite as bright.

For us cats that means we have to be a little bit more attentive with where we look for our sunny spots. These days they are fewer and further between because the sun is lower behind the trees at the perimeter of our property most of the time.

Really makes you value what you have when you have it!

Crypto Rollercoaster... Again!

Meanwhile what a week in the Cryptosphere!

I have to be honest, I'm getting a little bit tired of watching the markets take a dump then very slowly claw their way back to where they were before... and then take another dump to where we end up right back in the basement where we were before.

Yesterday, we saw a 15-cent Steem again and that made me kind of sad. I recently hoped that we were going to see 20 cent Steem, but instead we went in the opposite direction. But such is life in this volatile business.

All I can say is I'm glad that I'm not a trader; rather, I'm somebody who just holds onto their stuff and hopes that things go forward from here in the long run, way out into the future.

It does worry me a little bit that these explosive declines are not very good from the perspective of encouraging mass adoption of cryptocurrency. If, indeed, mass adoption is what we're ultimately looking for with this.

But I'm a very small player on this field so I'm not going to worry myself too much about it. Instead I'm mostly going to focus on what I can do to build my little stake here in our little Steemit community.

And while doing so, I can always hope that we're going to end up with more pet and cat related content which would be really nice!

Smudge!

My fuzzy housemate Smudge is doing well. She's getting to the point where she will soon need to get her annual haircut. Yes, we have a cat who gets a haircut! Smudge is a very long-haired cat and her fur just keeps growing out faster than it falls and gets brushed off. If she doesn't get a professional shave every now and then, she ends up basically becoming "dreadlock kitty!"
