Greetings, Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!
Always happy to see the arrival of the weekend, because that means Saturday, and Saturday means Caturday! As always, time to check in and share some cat photos... in a tradition that is getting to be almost 20 years old!

"Caturday on Saturday" supposedly got its start in the huge 4chan image board communities and has become a tradition that now spans the globe!
In fact, cats have somehow managed to become the "unofficial mascots" of the Internet, and along the way we have managed to have a number of "celebrity cats" that became household names... from "Longcat" in the early days to the likes of "Grumpy Cat."
I never really aspired to actual fame, but it's definitely fun to have a dedicated cat blog!
We're having a fairly quiet weekend around here. The Mom-Hooman just came home from visiting her daughter in Seattle, and the plan for tomorrow is to have a nice lazy day of lounging around the house.
Of course, the Hoomans are starting to get organized to start up their arts and crafts projects again, because what they call "holiday show season" is right around the corner.
I like it when they bring out all their interesting stuff... many things for me to get into! Even though they seem to get annoyed and try to remove me from all the bags and boxes, I know they also think it's extremely cute!
If they didn't, why do they keep running for the camera?
Crypto Upswings? Santa Claus Rally in the Making?
So, our Steem token suddenly shot up past $0.20! I was very happy to see that happen! Seems like we have been bumping along the basement for such a long time.
Makes me wonder whether this is the beginning of a so-called "Santa Claus Rally," meaning a really strong market leading up to the holidays and the New Year. I sure hope so!

Although I was not yet here for the peak of Steem, I did get to be here early on when Steem was over $4.00 a token! Wouldn't that be something?!?!
Well, not going to hold my breath for that, but it certainly would be nice if we got back around $0.50 or so!
