I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their lives. I am going to tell you a story that happened two weeks ago. When suddenly at three o'clock in the morning I got a call from my uncle who told me that I was having a lot of pain in my chest which was unbearable. I picked up my father and took him to his house, he was in a lot of pain. My Dad is a doctor, so he gave him a painkiller and said that you should eat it and after praying, we would go to a hospital. So he took that tablet but it did not make any difference and the pain increased more and more. Then we encouraged them and immediately after offering the Fajr prayer, we called the ambulance.
We called the ambulance and sat uncle in it and directly reached Civil Hospital Sahiwal. After going there we admitted our uncle in emergency. First of all, they told us that their ECG is done for the heart, which shows what is the disease and what is causing the pain. We immediately went and got the ECG done. My cousin went and got the ECG done. Meanwhile, I went out. The admit form and I made an admission slip for them so that they could be admitted here quickly and start their treatment.
We can't see ECG ourselves because what kind of doctor are we? So he saw for himself and knew that he had a hot attack and it was severe. He has had a hot attack two to three times before, but it was of a low level, but this time he had a severe type of heart attack. So they quickly admitted them and started treating them, first, they applied painkillers and gave some medicine along with it and told them to eat and wait for some time. And in the meantime, they gave us a blood sample and asked us to get these tests done.
His condition was a bit worse, so he told us that he was vaccinated by SK. SK vaccine means that it thins the blood and can be life-threatening during administration. Although it has many benefits, some patients cannot tolerate it. Due to this, the blood pressure becomes very low and the life of the disease is threatened. Therefore, they first asked us and said that if they put them on, it is a good thing, it would give them a quick rest and they also told us about their disadvantages. But still, we told them to inject it, then they took an affidavit from us got our signature, and then injected them.
What was feared happened, as soon as the injection was half-done, my uncle's blood pressure started to drop. Gradually, the pain began to subside and the pain started again. Because when the blood is thin, it circulates once in the whole body and wherever any of the veins are closed, it opens them. It hurts a lot when she opens it, so she starts having pain like before, and also her blood pressure has come down. In the meantime, the nurses who were there gave him more injections and also put him in a drip, due to which his blood pressure was restored.
Then gradually Uncle's health started to improve and the intensity of pain also decreased. And after about two hours, he went and got peace and he sat up, Masha'Allah. Then they shifted us to the emergency ward where they told us that we would keep them there for two days. Because SK is vaccinated he doesn't have to walk them around much. However, you have to urinate in bed with some method. He said that we will keep 48 hours so that the patient does not suffer any more in the next 48 hours.
At the same time, the sample taken by him, which was the serum electrolyte, also came back normal. Which made us even more relieved that it was no longer a matter of concern. I had the test done in front of a Punjab laboratory in the hospital and it came back completely normal. Similarly, Chacho's condition had already become normal and this test also came back normal, now we were out of danger.
Everything was back to normal but still, they kept us for 48 hours. There he had an ECG done daily along with some medicine and a blood pressure check periodically because he was at risk of not having any pain in the next 48 hours. So they kept it to themselves.
So there they had made a file for them, every doctor or nurse who came to do their check-up, after doing the check-up, was recorded on this file. The one who checked the blood pressure was also written there, similarly, every MBBS doctor who came also wrote it here. So that every time a professional doctor comes and checks, he can read his report and understand what the patient is suffering from and what is his condition now. In the same way, Dr. Najam Saqib used to come and check on us, would show us what to do next.
According to the instructions given by this doctor, we stayed in this hospital for almost three days and after three days they discharged us. And told us to get their angiography done which will know what caused the damage. It means which vein is blocked which causes the heart attack because a heart attack occurs when the blood supply is cut off to any place.
He also prescribed us some medicine and told us to use it for seven days. And after seven days of using it again check me again to see what the situation is now. We got the discharge card from there on which instructions were written and medicine was written.
Then we thanked Allah a million times for saving us from any great loss and sending us home after three days of hardship. Allah decides life and death, so we should be content with Allah's pleasure. What he does is good for us. Therefore, we are also included in the pleasure of Allah. We are grateful to Allah that He healed my uncle.
