Greetings friends, happy start to the month, I am pleased to join the contest proposed by @khursheedanwar in the community, where he asks us what the care of a deep wound would be like, it is vitally important to have the basic knowledge of how we are going to treat that wound in the moment it is produced and its subsequent care.
We must be aware that we are organic beings susceptible to having wounds caused by others or produced by an accident with a penetrating sharp object. If any scenario occurs where the wound is deep, we must take certain measures during and after the accident.
When we realize that we have an opening in the skin and it was deep, first we must remain calm, observe if there is constant and abundant bleeding, in this way we determine that it is deep. There will not always be bleeding because it can be an internal wound and the bleeding is internal, here we must determine what it was done with and observe the diameter of the object.
Wounds are openings in the skin and allow the entry of germs and bacteria, so we must cover them immediately, preferably with a clean cloth, so we can minimize possible infection.
Generally we do not know what type of damage a deep wound can cause, since there may be internal damage, such as muscles, tendons, arteries or organs, but that is determined by qualified specialists in the health area. But we can take actions such as preventing a lot of blood loss from occurring, and a tourniquet or pressure can be applied as the case may be.
There are wounds caused in the abdomen and although it may seem impossible, it is common for the intestines to come out, here you have to place cloth over them and wet it with water while you go to the doctor.
Let's see how a deep wound goes through several layers of skin until it reaches the reticular dermis, here it is already very deep and after this are the muscles, arteries, organs, bones.
Generally, deep wounds have sutures. Once the wound has been closed, days of care begin. A poorly treated point can become infected. Generally, it should be cleaned with hydrogen peroxide and the suture covered. At times it is left natural, that is, without the bandage, so that the heat does not cause it to become infected.
According to medical indication, a frequency of cleaning the wound must be followed, this will help it improve faster. The skin organ has the ability to generate quickly, with the exceptions of if there is a chronic disease. The rest seeks to heal by forming a scab; it is not advisable to remove them since they leave scars.
For me, this would be the way I would take care of a deep wound until it recovers. If you think there is something else to add or that I am omitting something, you can let me know through the comments.
Friends, I hope my publication is to everyone's liking. Blessings. See you soon.
