Heartwarming greetings to all my admirable steemians in this great community and Steemit as a whole.
I'm @alli001 from Nigeria, i welcome y'all to my blog

Children are gift from God, and parents are like caretakers or nannies working for God. The lives of the little ones means a lot to God and it hurts him seeing these little ones maltreated by their parents through starvation/hunger and the likes of them. My humble moderator @sahmie, you've done well for coming up with this creative and realistic contest. I present my entry below 👇🏾.

Children love shiny, colourful and mostly things that appears in various shapes, we can encourage healthy eating habits in children while making it fun and enjoyable by using colourful plates, shiny spoons, lighting up candles, keeping flowers etc. Most people eat fruits of different kinds after they're done eating their food, this is also another opportunity to encourage healthy eating habits in children.

We as parents and elder siblings can foster emotional well-being and resilience in children by encouraging them to tell us about their feelings, and this should be done in a lovely manner. We should open our arms and welcome this children anytime they need our attention, with so doing it'll be easy for them to draw close to us and split out what's bothering them.

How can we teach children about the importance of good hygiene habits and make it a part of their daily routine?

There's this saying "Leaders leads by example". The same thing applies to parents/elderly siblings, to teach children about the importance of good hygiene, we should first of all practice it because children are fun of mimicking what others people do. At the process of coaching about the importance of good hygiene, we should make the whole scene enjoyable for them.

We can organise this as a daily game, and there must be a price or reward for the best child who will practice good hygiene for 1 week without mistakes. Children love challenge and they'll always want to defeat others, with this strategy they'll do everything possible to practice good hygiene and making it their daily routine so as to win the staked prize, and at last they'll come to see the importance of good hygiene.

How can we support and nurture a child's creativity and imagination?

We're living in a digital world were all kids knows how to operate a smartphone and even laptop. It's not bad, but excessive screen time can stifle creativity so one of the best support is to limit the amount of time these children spend on the screen. We should study thes children and know what they're capable of.

For example, a child that's creative and knows how to transform or use paper and cartons to mold canoe, aeroplane, trucks just by folding it, we can be buying materials for such child, in this way we're helping and supporting him because this creativity in him or her is important for his or her overall development.

Give some strategies for fostering open communication and building strong parent-child relationships?

To foster open communication and building strong parent-child relationships, we must be a good listener so that we'll be able to give the perfect advice. When we give our children listening ears, this will make them feel comfortable and also know that we do care about their feelings and emotions.

Setting aside time for open communication for our children is very crucial because this will make them feel warm and cared for. We should also make our children feel free to express their feelings being it negative or positive.

I invite @bossj23 @goodybest @patjewell to participate in this contest.
