What Is Insomnia?

Insomnia is a disorder associated with sleep that is characterized by disorders of sleep initiation and/or sleep maintenance, or both – as a consequence of an internal or external struggle to fall asleep. Suffice it to say that good and quality sleep is a prerequisite quality for a peaceful life. It is not something that we should be prepared to compromise on.

Types:

There are generally two forms of insomnia. It can occur both acutely and chronically.Other chronic forms can be the most serious case of depression together with suicidal attempts which leaves the subject at a near point of no return. However, acute form can be considered to be mild and the same may be treated with short course and short term medicines.

Causative Factors:

Insomnia is an illness which is caused by many causes and therefore cannot be looked at as a disease. In order to treat insomnia we have to work on the actual problem or the issues that are causing insomnia. It can be due to;

  • Stress
  • Drugs
  • Disturbed Sleeping Cycle
  • Mental Health
  • Nutritional Deficiencies
  • Physical Injuries
  • Nightmare
    These are the reasons that cause Insomnia. There should be a schedule to sleep, one should not stress, one should take balanced diet and try to avoid accidents. Anything that causes pain can lead to Insomnia.

Treatment

Its diagnosis is easy and straightforward. It can be defined as follows: we don't rest well, and hence, think about Insomnia. Quite a number of medicine is available to cure Insomnia, all of them need to be treated with justice. There shouldn't be a time we use them as they make addiction. Here are some of Insomnia Cure advises and medicine that can be taken.

  1. Antidepressants

  2. Muscle relaxing medications

  3. Pain medications or NSIAD

  4. Make sure that there is a sleep schedule

  5. Reduce Screens

  6. Don't stress yourself out, take it easy

One of the most important things fused with intelligence is that we should not consider Insomnia as a disease, it is a disorder. It can go off for any reason. We should treat ourselves with caution. If we are suffering with it, it is advisable to consult with a doctor or in this case a Psychologist. Most cases occur when individuals have lost hope for a short period of time and acute insomnia reports them. If these conditions are not addressed, it can lead into death. Thank God I was able to cure it before any further weakening of my health happened.
