Greetings Wonderful Individuals

I am so excited to join @abdullahw2's Healthy Recipe Challenge. Today we share one of my favorite healthy recipes, Sautéed Vegetables Along with Chicken. Perfectly balanced with bright, healthy veggies wrapped around tender chicken, it’s a colorful sight to behold. Rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals this meal is not only tasty but also very filling. The best part? It’s fast to put together, making for a good wholesome meal. So, stick around for the details of this nutritious recipe, step by step.

I am sharing one of my favorite healthy recipes—Savory Sautéed Chicken & Veggies Delight.

Ingredients

✅Vegetables: Cauliflower, broccoli, carrot and peas

✅Protein: Piece of chicken breast

✅Seasoning & Sauces: Soya sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, salt

✅Oil: olive oil (light and healthy)

Step-by-Step Recipe

Step 1: Preparing the Veggies

For the vegetables, I wash and cut the cauliflower, broccoli carrot, and peas into small pieces, so that they are easy to cook and eat.

Step 2: Blanching the Spring Vegetables

I then par-boil the vegetables to about 80 percent doneness so they are slightly crispy and hold their bright color and nutrients. I make sure not to overcook them, because that will lose their crunch.

Step 3: Marinating for More Flavor

I season the drained vegetables with soya sauce, oyster sauce, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. This process imparts a yummy umami flavor to the vegetables.

Likewise, I first marinate the chicken breast with soya sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and black pepper to let the chicken soak up all the goodness before going on the heat.

Step 4: Making the Chicken

I drizzle olive oil in the pan (as it’s healthy and light) and toss in the marinated chicken, frying until it’s golden brown and cooked to perfection. Even the smell is enough to make me drool!

Step 5: Stir-Frying Veggies

When the chicken is done, I sauté the marinated vegetables in olive oil for a few minutes — just enough to soak in the flavors without losing some of their great texture.

Step 6: Ready to Serve

And finally, I plate the chicken ready and juicy, served with the flavorful sautéed vegetables. It is a protein and fiber packed wholesome meal that is healthy and delicious at the same time.
