Hello Steemians; welcome to my blog.
Bloating is usually a digestive issue. It is a feeling of tightness, pressure or fullness in your belly. It is often painful and makes you feel uncomfortable. Some people feel bloated around the time of their period but the most common reason for bloating is having a lot of gas in your gut or problem with your digestion. Gas builds up in the digestive tract when undigested food gets broken down or you swallow air. When you are bloated, it can interfere with your ability to work and participate in social activities.
Constipation
Constipation can contribute to abdominal pains and bloating. The longer your stool stays in your colon, the more time bacteria have to ferment what is there, resulting in more gas and bloating.
Recent weight gain
Weight gain can probably impact your abdominal volume which means creating less room for normal digestion. Sometimes, it can also involve water retention, which can make you feel bloated with fluids in your stomach.
Food intolerance
Eating the food you're intolerant with can make you feel unwell. Food intolerance is when you have difficulty digesting certain foods. If you are intolerant to a particular food, eating such food can cause bloating, farting, and tummy pain.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
It is a condition that affects the digestive system and causes symptoms like stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhea, and constipation. There's usually no cure for this but diet changes can often help control the symptoms.
• Exercise
Exercising regularly improves your digestion and helps prevent bloating.
• Drinking water
Drinking water throughout the day is a great way to stay hydrated and cleanse your body of extra salt and water that can cause bloating.
• Peppermint tea
Peppermint tea is also a great comforting tea that can be used to relieve bloat. The low caffeine content makes it a good option for morning, noon, or night.
• Green tea
Drinking green tea frequently can be quite beneficial. It has many antioxidants that help reduce inflammation in your digestive tract, which, if such information is not checked, causes bloating.
• fennel tea
Fennel tea also offers benefits like relieving constipation, supporting digestion, and improving your sleep. It helps to relax muscles in the digestive system.
