Lungs Cancer which happens to be the most leading cause of cancer death worldwide is a type of cancer that begins with the growth of cells in the lungs. When the cells in the lungs divide uncontrollably, it causes a tumor growth which lead to lungs cancer. Lungs Cancer is not something that reveals it's symptoms or signs at the initial stage rather the symptoms appears when the cancer is already getting advanced. The symptoms of lungs cancer may include chest pain, shortness of breath, coughing out of blood, hoarsness of voice etc. The lungs cancer if not treated may spread to other parts of the body and then, you will be seeing symptoms like unnecessary losing of weight, lost of appetite, bone pain, heavy headache and also swelling in the face or neck.

Smokers have the highest risk of lungs cancer because the length and number of tobacco smoked increases the risk of lungs cancer and this is because tobacco smoke contains chemicals that can possibly destroy the cells in the lungs which can lead to cancer. Lungs cancer can also occur to nonsmokers due to some factors that may include secondhand smoke, air pollution, workplace exposure to asbestos and other chemicals. Lungs Cancer in nonsmokers is often different from the one that usually develop in smokers, they tend to develop in younger people and often have some genetic changes that are different from those in tumors found in the lungs of smokers.
Treatment of lungs cancer usually depends on the stage of the disease. Lungs Cancer treatment can be done through surgery, chemotherapy and for those who cannot undergo surgery, they can go for radiation therapy to remove the cancer from the lungs and that can only be possible if the cancer have not yet spread to other parts of the body.
