I love maintaining good dental care which is my daily dental care routine for healthy teeth and gums which helps me to prevent bad bread, gum disease, and cavities which I will be sharing with you here. Below is my step-by-step dental care routine.
Morning Routine
Brushing my teeth for 2 minutes
I do use a soft-bristle toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste to brush my teeth.
I do make sure I brush all surfaces of my teeth and along the gum line.
I do replace my toothbrush every 2 to 3 months. I don't like using a toothbrush for more than 3 months.
Floss: I do use dental floss and sometimes a water glosser to clean in between my teeth where my toothbrush can't reach.
Mouthwash: I rinse my mouth with an antibacterial or sometimes fluoride mouthwash to reduce plaque and strengthen enamel.
Hydration: I do ensure I drink water to rinse my mouth after eating and keeping it hydrated.
After Meals
Rinse My Mouth:
As I said before immediately after eating, I use water or mouthwash to rinse food particles away in my mouth.
Also, I avoid brushing my mouth immediately after an acidic meal to protect my enamel.
Chew Sugar-Free Gum:
Once in a while most especially during the night, I stimulate saliva production to help me neutralize acids and wash away food.
Evening Routine
Brush Again 2 minutes This time I do pay extra attention to the gum. Line and back teeth.
Floss Again This prevents plaque buildup overnight.
Use Night-Strength Fluoride Gel or Rinse This helps to strengthen my teeth and prevent me from having cavities while I am asleep.
All that I have shared above is my dental care routine which I apply to keep my teeth healthy and strong. This routine of mine helps me to avoid bad odors, teeth gum, and so on. Like I said before I change my toothbrush every 2 to 3 months and once in a while I visit the dentist for a medical check-up.
