I'm thrilled to be participating in this contest, and I hope you're all doing well! A special thanks to my friend @inudi and @tammanna for inviting me to this contest. I'm excited to share a traditional recipe that's perfect for the upcoming Eid ul Azha celebrations. 🎉

Color Flavor Vermicelli Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup vermicelli
  • 1 liter cow milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1 cup sugar (add to taste)
  • 3-4 green cardamoms
  • 3-4 teaspoons dry milk powder (optional)
  • Garnish: almonds, pistachios, or your preferred dry fruits

Let's Cook ✨

In a pot, add 2 teaspoons of oil and roast the vermicelli and green cardamoms over medium flame for 1 minute, until slightly colored.

Add boiled milk and stir continuously until it comes to a boil. Reduce the flame and let it simmer for a few minutes.

If you want a rich and creamy flavor, add 3-4 teaspoons of dry milk powder or 1 teaspoon of custard powder (optional) and add shuger

Mix well and cook until the milk thickens slightly. Be careful not to overcook, as it will thicken further upon cooling. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

Garnish with your preferred dry fruits and refrigerate.
