My father was a renowned smoker who takes delight in it. It was a typical Monday evening when my father suddenly held his chest and collapsed on the floor. I was in shock as I called for help. People around helped me to rush him to the hospital.
The paramedics rushed him at the hospital as I was left praying for his life. The doctor told us that he had suffered a massive heart attack but luckily and thankfully they were able to revive. It served as a wake up call for my entire family. Luckily my father made a full recovery but it taught us the importance of taking care of our hearts as well as living a healthy lifestyle.
