Nowadays many types of diet plans are trending for weight loss, but the most discussed is intermittent fasting.

What is your opinion about intermittent fasting? Is it easy to lose weight with this or not?

Intermittent fasting (IF) is a dieting method in which the timing of eating and fasting is followed by changing them. It is an effective way to lose weight and improve the metabolism of your health.

When we are fasting, our body stops using glucose for fuel and starts metabolizing fat.

This helps in reducing blood sugar and insulin levels. Due to which our chances of gaining weight or developing diabetes or heart disease are greatly reduced.

Intermittent fasting is considered to be the best diet plan for weight loss. In this, weight is reduced by eating a full meal. It is becoming increasingly popular due to no restriction on eating favorite things.

By adopting the intermittent fasting diet plan, the body starts detoxing quickly. It also has many other health benefits. By fasting for a long time, the digestive system starts working well.

There are many types of intermittent fasting

16/8 fasting-

In this, we remain without eating for 16 hours and take all our meals like breakfast, lunch, dinner in 8 hours of the day.

14/10 fasting-

In this, we remain without eating for 14 hours. And take all our meals in 10 hours. For example, if we take breakfast, the first meal of the day, at 9:00 in the morning, then we have to take our last meal i.e. dinner at 7:00. After this, we do not have to eat anything.

5/2 fasting-

In this, we eat our normal food for five days and take low calorie food for the remaining two days.

6/1 Fasting -

In this we eat normal food for 6 days and for one day i.e. for 24 hours we do not take anything other than water or liquid diet.

1/1 Fasting -

In this we eat normal food for one day and take calorie food on one day.

We can adopt any of these fasting methods according to the need of our body.

Tell us, is there any risk in intermittent fasting for people with certain health conditions?

Not everyone should do intermittent fasting. Because fasting for a long time can have the greatest effect on the kidneys.

For some people who have diabetes, eating disorders, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, heart patients, low blood pressure or those who need food along with medicine.

They must consult a doctor or dietician before doing this type of diet fasting.

Because staying without food for a long time can be dangerous for them.

If we have any health related problem, then fasting plan and diet will be prepared only after looking at our disease, that is why we should do intermediate fasting only under the guidance of a doctor and dietician.

Tell us, is intermittent fasting a realistic way to stay healthy for a long time or not? Share your opinion.

Yes, I think intermediate fasting is a way to stay healthy for a long time.

Because it detoxifies the body.

And we lose weight. By losing weight, we can avoid many diseases.
