My name is HOLINESS PAUL UDO, Nigerian by nationality , working as Head of Human Resource, Imabridge Medical Center. Part of my job responsibilities is to organize training to educate and impact skills on my employees.

In the hospital, we had many medical equipments donated to us by MEDSHARE but non of the staff had the knowledge on how to troubleshoot, repairs and maintain those equipments. So we communicated to our sponsors for the need to organize Biomedical Engineering training.

As part of humanitarian services render by IMABRIDGE AFRICA in partnership with MEDSHARE , USA agreed to sponsor free training and certification for both the staff and anyone interested in starting or advancing career in Biomedical Engineering. .

The event started with welcoming the Director of Biomedical Engineering, MEDSHARE, USA (Engr. Eben Armstrong), a short prayer, welcome speech and introduction of the executives as well as the trainees by me.

It was a two weeks intensive training on troubleshooting, repairs and maintenances of medical equipment like, Ultrasound, Centrifuge, Oxygen Concentrator, Suction machine, Electrosurgical units, Transformers, Microscope, Beds, Scales, Theater lamps etc.

The trainer was passionate about training the people and the trainees were determined to learn. At the end of the training, certificates were given based on assessment. Now, we can boldly say, we have the best hands to handle our equipments.

The training was totally free for the participants including the Certificates and feeding. All thanks to MEDSHARE and IMABRIDGE Africa for their humanitarian services to the people

The venue of the training was imabridge Medical Center, a subsidiary of Imabridge Africa. Located at Owot Uta, Ibesikpo Asutan, Akwa Ibom State. Imabridge Medical Center is one of the best hospitals in Nigeria, well equipped for any kind of treatment and surgery. Do well to visit or refer anyone who need medical attention.
