♦️What do you know about hepatitis?
Hepatitis is simply explained as an inflammation of the liver tissue. It's commonly caused by viral hepatitis such as hepatitis A,B,C,D, and E and other various factors, which include heavy alcohol consumption, toxins, and autoimmune diseases with other infection. Hepatitis A and E are typically spread by contaminated food or water , and then hepatitis B and C are manly transmitted through unprotected sex and needle sharing by intravenous drugs user's. This can also be spread through mother to baby during pregnancy or childbirth. So, moving on to hepatitis D, it can only affect those people who had already been infected with hepatitis B.
♦️Have you seen a hepatitis patient ever in your surroundings?
Source
Yes, i have seen most people suffering from hepatitis and they always complain about different signs of symptoms like fatigue, yellow skin or eyes, fever, pains in their body, and lost of appetite, and i understand the reason why it comes with different symptoms. Because hepatitis ABCD and E are typically different from each other and dose not come with the same symptoms
♦️Is hepatitis curable?
The cure depends on the paticular type of the hepatitis of which i have already explained how it transmitted in different ways, so hepatitis A,B,C,D, and E have different specific types of treatment.
hepatitis A, there's no any formal treatment for it because the viral infection automatically resolves on its own within a short term, and after a few periods of weeks resting, you have to stop consuming alcohol, eating healthy foods to help your health system and stay hydrated, these will be helpful to reduce the risk.
hepatitis B is a long-term treatment, and it will be suppressed with antiviral medication until the virus is discharged from the body, and it will help to lower the rate of complications and liver issues.
hepatitis C can be treated with antiviral medication with the combination of sofosbuvir and daclatasvir, which are known as (DAA) direct acting antivirals. These drugs have been developed to tackle hepatitis C virus in the body and have the chance to cure the infection successfully.
hepatitis D is an uncommon structure of hepatitis that transpired with people coinfected with hepatitis B, and there's no particular treatment for it.
hepatitis E, in most cases, it resolves on its own within short-term, which might not require any particular medication. The treatment strategies focused on resting, eating healthy foods, and avoiding alcohol consumption.
♦️Conclusion♦️
Always eat healthy food, have time to rest well, and avoid anything that will cost liver damage, such as alcohol and smoke, etc. It is very essential to visit your doctor or health care for proper assessment when you notice any signs of hepatitis.
