Imagine a room. In this room, there is a therapist's office. In this office, there are two people waiting to be attended to by the therapist. One person is suffering from a mental health condition, always feeling hopeless and sad, obviously struggling with depression. The other person is having problem, controlling his emotions, thereby always feeling frustrated and angry.
The therapist, soon came into the room to begin a private conversation with each patient and to help the understand, cope and overcome their health condition/ emotions.

Depression and anger are two very different conditions, even though they can have some similar symptoms. Depression is a mental health condition that is mainly described by persistent feelings of sadness, worthlessness and hopelessness. - Chronic stress, whether from finances, relationships, work or other sources.
- Substance abuse or addiction.
- Changes in hormone levels, for example those that occurs during pregnancy or menopause.
- Genetic Factors. Some people are more likely to develop depression due to their family history.
There are various ways to cope with Anger and Depression.
Therapy: Therapy sessions can be very helpful to cope with anger and depression. Such therapy includes cognitive behavioral therapy or dialectical behavioral therapy. Therapist or counselors can provide additional support.
Activities such as exercises, mindfulness meditation, or even relaxation techniques can help to reduce the stress levels and improve their mood.
For some people, it is been recommend that certain supplements, such as fish oil or St. John's Wort may be helpful.
In addition to the ways listed above, there are some self care strategies that can be implemented to cope with anger and depression. These strategies include; eating a healthy diet, making time for hobbies and interests, spending time with supportive friends and family, practicing self compassion, setting realistic expectations for yourself and learning to say "no" when needed.

Psychotherapy also known as talk therapy is another treatment option that involves having a conversation with a therapist about your thoughts and feelings.
Additionally, medications can also be used to treat these two conditions (anger and depression). The most common types of medications used to treat anger and depression are Antidepressants and Anti-anxiety medications..
