Free public health care. There are pros and cons. I don't know what it looks like in other countries, but in Poland it is different. Just different. I think that's a good word. It depends more on the person who will take you to health care. Here, if something happens to us, we have to be lucky to fit in the queue. And I'm not talking about a few days of waiting. Here you have to wait a few months. So unfortunately, if something serious is hurting us, it is only the hospital, where it is also difficult to find a place and the doctors in Polish hospitals are very rude. I've seen them tell sick people to go home.
Earlier I wrote that it is different because I also know such cases that when something happened to someone, they took care of him on the same day. It depends on the person you are calling to make an appointment. If we run into some rude man, he'll say he can't do it, and if we run into some understanding man, who knows what it's all about and knows what empathy means, then we have a chance that they will take care of us faster.
In my country, health care is free, but as I mentioned above, unfortunately, to get without a queue, borders on a miracle. Most often it turns out that it's just best to make an appointment privately, and as we know, doctors take a lot of money for this. So you can say that in Poland it is free, but you still have to pay. That's how I see it. It's a strange country, but I also learned a lot of things here and I think that if I manage in Poland, I can do it anywhere.
Hospitals in Poland are very poorly supplied. Even hospital food is a few small sandwiches and a small cube of butter that is barely enough to grease one slice of bread. Unfortunately, if someone has something serious, you can only go to the capital, which is Warsaw. Hospitals are better equipped, but not enough. A lot of equipment has to be brought in and paid for. Fortunately, people organize money drops and help each other out. So there's still hope.
