What is your opinion about intermittent fasting? Is it easier to lose our weight or not?

Intermittent fasting I think its also a useful means of weight loss for those who are aiming at slimming down their waistline and intermittent fasting involves the reduction of periods of eating and that can effectively regulate consumption of the calories and reduce fat content also it could have other health benefits like enhancing insulin sensitivity and other forms of cellular repair so whether it can be easier to lost weight by fasting than with other diets or not depends on.

Let us know, Are there any risks of trying intermittent fasting for people with certain health conditions?

As with most diets, there are possible dangers for persons with specific diseases so therefore I recommend that anyone who wants to try fasting should consult a health practitioner first so some of the health conditions that may be affected by intermittent fasting includes,

  1. Diabetes: Eating habits are shaped by practicing fasting, and this may apply changes in the medicine intake by people with diabetes, and the frequent checking on the blood sugar level.

  2. Eating disorders: Some people report developing eating disorder behaviours or having them worsen when embarking on intermittent fasting.

  3. Pregnant or breastfeeding women: Eating a lot during pregnancy and when breastfeeding can also be very unhealth for both the mother and the baby since some important nutrients will not be available.

  1. Low blood pressure: Sometimes blood glucose also decreases thus contributing to low blood pressure therefore those that already have low blood pressure may faint.

  2. Nutrient deficiencies: Starvation holds the potential to put a check to nutrient deficiency once they are already deformed as long as it is supervised keenly to avoid the worst-side effects.

Let us know, is intermittent fasting a realistic way to stay healthy in the long term or not? Share your opinion.

To be honest intermittent fasting can be a realistic and effective way to stay much healthy in the long term for many people's and to what I have learnt about it shown that intermittent fasting can lead to various health benefits that includes, weight loss, health, reduced inflammation, improved metabolic and better brain function.

So my dear steemians it’s imperative to note that intermittent fasting may not be for everyone, and particularly for cases with specific medical conditions or any special dietary requirements.
