Greeting Steemit friends,
Interesting topic in the medical sector, as many treatments of injuries, diseases, and other disorders are done manually with instruments. Surgery required a specialist and a well-equipped facility.

🩹Tell us what surgery have you or a family member or friends performed and why?

I know a good number of friends and family members who have performed different types of surgery. I will go ahead to share that of my friend, and classmate in secondary school. We were all coming back from school, and a car coming from behind us had a mechanical problem. The brakes were not working, and the driver was a mechanic who was out to test the car. I was quick to get the noise from behind and turned to see the coming car. I jumped over the roadside ditch, while my friend jumping missed his step and had one leg in the roadside ditch.

Unfortunately for him, the car meets him and hits his leg. I only hear him shout "My leg". People came around and lifted the car, and tried standing but he discovered his one leg was shorter than the other. That was the moment he started crying, and we rushed him to the hospital. From that outer sink, I could see just a small wound but the bone was broken.

He was quickly taken into the theater, and work started. I was the only close person at the moment. The doctor told me the leg is broken, and that they will do some scans to see how serious before the surgery will be done. At that moment, I did have a phone. I left the hospital to my friend's house and informed the parents. I came back the next day to check on him when they had done the surgery to correct his bone position.

🩹 Do you consider surgery the solution to a health problem?

Surgery can be considered a solution to a health problem. I have seen women put to birth through surgery, which if not done will cost the death of both mother and child. We heard about cardiac surgery, which has saved the lives of cardiac patients. I can remember medical cases like vibrios, in which surgery has been the solution.

🩹 Have you or a family member or friends suffered an accident that required surgery ? Tell us how it was?

I mentioned above about my friend, who was both walking together and involved in a motor accident. The driver took the car out for testing and finally hit my friend in the roadside ditch. The born leg was dislocated and needed to be adjusted, and the best solution was surgery. Which was done after a series of scans. and the expected result was obtained.

🩹When these events exist, which health center do you go to, or simply go to the home remedies, tell us which one you go to!

Surgery options for medical solutions required a high level of technology. So, home remedies can never be an option but a well-equipped medical facility. If I need surgery or a family member, I will go to a well-equipped health center. If possible I will make sure I enquired if they have a specialist in the facility.

Surgery are of different levels, we had minor and major cases. No matter the case, I will love it to be handled by a professional. We can only have such medical personnel in well-equipped hospitals given that instruments are needed to achieve results.
