Why is breastfeeding good for babies and moms, and how does it help babies grow strong?
Breastfeeding has benefit both for the mother and the babies not only for the babies.
Advantage of breastfeeding over babies and the mum.
Breastfeeding is beneficial for both babies and mothers, offering numerous physical and emotional advantages. Here are some reasons why breastfeeding is good for babies and moms:
Benefits for Babies:
It provides tithe baby the right combination of protein, carbohydrate, vitamins,fats and minerals which are nutritious. It protect babies from infection and diseases. It support the growth of the baby. It also promote the brain development of the child. It also support the health of the child. It help in boosting the immune system. The breast milk has ma tmore advantages to the baby
Benefits for Moms:
The breastfeeding help in the release of hormone which help the uterus to return to it pregnancy size. It helps in the reduction of postpartum bleeding therefore it promote uterine heeling.
After child bearing, the mother will be so full of weight so breastfeeding help in the reduction of weight.
It also helps to reduce the risk of Brest cancer
It helps babies to grow strong because it contains all the necessary nutrients responsible for growth.
How can parents make sure their baby sleeps safely to avoid sudden bad things happening while they sleep?
Parent can ensure their babies sleep safely by
- By making sure that they maintain a room temperature of about 68-70°f
- By making sure that you dress your baby with a light cloth in order to avoid overheating.
- By making sure you breastfeed your babies in order to reduce the risk sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
List out some ways to calm a crying baby, and why is it important to do it quickly?
Ways to calm a crying baby:
Firstly you check the physical need of the baby example hunger and comfort of the child.then you offer a comfort object to the child. Then you provide a calm environment. Then you try shushing, swaddling, sucking and shaking the child.
It is very important to calm a child down in order to;
In order to reduce the stress and also anxiety for both the parent and the baby.
To promote the spirit of safety and security.
And it also help in regulating the baby nervous system.
List out and explain 4 things parents and siblings can do to keep babies at home safe.
Four things parent and siblings can do to keep babies save at home are;
Always make sure your eyes are always on the babies around new environment and object. You have to assign a caregiver to keep eyes ontje babies. And allowing the siblings k ow the importance of keeping eyes on the baby.
Make sure sharp objects and other harmful substances are out of reach.
Make sure that the babies sleeping area is out of toys, and loose object and make sure the baby sleeping environment is very clean and tidy.
Make sure medication and other hazardous substance are stored in a high cabinet which are out of reach of the baby
Why do babies need immunization, and how do these immunisation keep babies healthy?
They need immunization in order to be protected from some of these dangerous disease. It help in the building of immunity against some diseases, which prevent complication and diseases.
It introduce a small harmless piece of bacteria and virus which trigger the immune system to help produce antibodies to fight the virus.
As the immune system give respond to the antigen , allowing the body to recognize and fight future infections.
