Today I wanted to share a post with you that is interesting and has many facts to be aware of. I mean testy about the green leaves potion that I am presenting today.It's mukununanna leaves salad (Alternanthera sessilis). So let's go to that.


01.Your Healthy Recipes: in here we want you to share with us your delicious and nutritious recipes ?

MUKUNUWANNA LEAVES SALAD

INGREDIENTS

🌿Mukunuwanna leaves
🌿Coconut oil 2 table spoon
🌿Onions 5g
🌿Garlic 2 cloves
🌿Fresh coconut 10g
🌿Salt 1/2 tea spoon
🌿Turmeric 1/4 tea spoon

Step 01

I bought this from the vegetable shop. So first clean the leaves and wash them well and keep them until the water is removed. Then slice it very thinly.

Step 02

Then put the pan on the stove and put coconut oil in it, when it heats up well, add onions and garlic to it and keep it until it turns golden.
I added some curry leaves for a good aroma and it is not essential.

Then add mukunuwanna leaves, coconut, salt and turmeric to it and mix well. Cook for about 1 minute and quickly transfer it to another bowl. Otherwise, the heat of the pan may destroy its nutritional quality.

02. Nutrition Tips: Here we want to see your expertise on healthy eating, you have to state your meal plan, the portion of food you eat.?


I think good nutrition is the key to a healthy life. The main nutrition tip I follow is, Following a balanced diet.
A balanced diet should include foods rich in vitamins and minerals, including fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products, and a good source of protein.

A healthy, balanced diet includes eating a variety of foods in the right amounts and foods to maintain a healthy body weight.
Consuming the right amount of drink is very important.
In addition,

  • I avoid soda and artificial juices whenever possible. Instead, I go for water or natural drinks. I often try to drink fresh coconut water or king coconut water.

  • Keep fried foods and saturated fats to a minimum. As options for this, you can choose to bake in a deep pan or on the stove. Otherwise, use an air fryer or bake.

As far as my meal plans are concerned, I have two little children, so it has been designed to suit them as well. I get cereals, boiled vegetables, fruits, nutrition porridge for breakfast on weekdays. But care is taken to give more carbohydrates and proteins according to the needs of the kids.

As I am srilankan, rice is mostly included in our diet, so I have a meal containing rice for lunch. To increase the nutritional quality of it, green leaves, a food containing protein, and one or two types of cooked vegetables must be added along with red rice which has more fiber. I am interested in eating less rice and more vegetables in my diet.

For dinner, I choose noodles, string hoppers, egg hoppers, pasta.
There, I am very concerned about the nutrition that comes from the ingredients used in it.

In my opinion, mental and physical well-being are interrelated in many important ways. We must constantly try to keep them balanced. The things I follow to maintain good physical and mental well-being are:

🍁Exercise.

Here we think that we should go to a gym and do hard exercise. But it could be going for a walk with a friend or a pet. Or you can improve physical health and self-esteem by doing yoga or musical physical activities like Zumba from home.

🍁Good sleep
By following it as a habit, you will feel happy and calm and can focus on tasks better throughout the day.

🍁Maintain good social relations.

🍁Stay in the present.

When we are aware of the workings of our mind, we can observe our own thoughts and feelings. Then, we can gain a better perspective. This is the best way to maintain more mindfulness.

🍁Meditate

Don't take it too complicated. Just meditate for a few minutes before going to sleep and waking up. In my experience, even though it is a simple act, it helps to develop a sense of mental balance and deep peace.

🍁Practice self-care

A set aside time for yourself every day. It is an important way to develop self-love that reduces stress and leads to inner peace.

🍁Be grateful

This is what makes my life the happiest. Gratitude can focus on what you already have in your life rather than what you're missing. For me it is the fast track to inner peace. Believe me, focusing on the good can change the way we look at our whole day.
