Hello and greetings dear beloved friends and colleagues of this amazing platform, regarding to my fellow steemians in this tremendous community known as #Healthy-Steem how are you all doing today, I hope you are all fine and healthy as well as enjoying the beautiful start of this new month of August, I remain your colleagues @john247 from #Nigeria its my pleasure having in my blog, I am so glad to have you all in this week #34 The Diary Game and your Health usually organized by @aaliarubab.
As we all know it's another week to showcase our talent and creativity towards this beautiful and amazing health diary game contest which came as an opportunity and privilege for us to share our different views, ideas, and perspective concerning this contest, which I have decided to be part of it.
Waking up strong and energetic in the morning I did my morning ritual which was praying and praising God for his guidance and protections, after that I went to brush my teeth then I left for my morning exercise which was jogging/walk which I usually do almost everyday to keep myself fit and healthy.
When I came back from the exercise this morning I took my bath and rested for half an hour which is 30mins and then I started doing my house chores such as washing the dishes, sweeping the compound and other part inside my house.
Your diet
In the morning I ate Akara and Pap which I bought on my way back home from morning exercise, the reason I bought it was to help ease the stress and time of making breakfast , in the afternoon I ate swallow and soup which gives more energy and strength better than what I ate in the morning while in the evening I ate noodles as dinner because I was so tired and feeling lazy to prepare rice which was my plan before,
By the way Diet is anything we take as food to satisfy hunger or craving, talking about diet is not any food or fruit we take that are considered diet because some of us ignorantly eats spoilt and bad food which didn't contribute to our health and body development rather it ruins it.
The water you drank
I drank thesame water as usual which was sachets water actually drinking water is very important and benefiting to our health in several ways such it flushes bacteria and other diseases out from our body through urinating and sweating, it protect and prevents our organs and tissues as well as it boost our immune system, it Improves our physical performance and at the same time prevents dehydration in our body that is to say water plays a vital and important role in our health and well being.
The exercise you did
The exercise I did is going for morning jogging and walk just like I said earlier this helps this has also becomes part of my hobbies and lifestyle because I usually to do it at least 3 three times in a week apart from the jogging I do in the morning I also play football in the evening with some of my friends and colleagues
What you did to relax
Relaxing is what every human being needs but many of us has given a lot of ignorance and less concerned to it which is very bad to our body and mental health, so the following is what I do to relax my body and mind
- sleeping helps relax the body, having a good and comfortable sleep is my number one way of relaxing the body and mind most especially when am tire and stress out, good and comfortable sleep cheers me up by regaining my strength and energy.
- exercise as I stated above doesn't only keeps you fit and healthy, it also helps relax the body and mind, I am a testimony to that because anytime am done with exercise I feel relax and free, that is to say it also relaxes the body and mind.
- meditation is another way of relaxing the body which means the focusing of your mind by using a composition of mental and physical manners and procedures, in this process you will be able to figure out your problems and issues troubling your mind as well as finding a good solutions to it.
- staying close to people you love as well as people who loves you too such as family and friends this will give you peace of mind and freedom from anxiety and any fear, only the joy they bring to you is enough to take away your sorrows and tension from you.
- last but no the least is praying to God for guidance and protection because most issues and restless day are not ordinary and it only by God grace that we can overcome and conquer this spiritual power fighting us.
The pain or tiredness you felt, etc.
The following are pains I felt..
- I usually have body pain and headache whenever I have sleepless night and insufficient sleep mostly when I didn't have a good sleeping position
- tiredness after exercise and sports that is when I must have jogged and played football for long time without resting.
- running and inching stomach when I have not eating or when I eat something the stomach did not accept or supports such like spoilt and unhealthy food
- feeling thirsty when I have not drinked water for long time most especially when am jogging or playing football
- feeling restless and uncomfortable when I did not relax my body very well when I suppose to.
- Have chest pain, an irregular heartbeat or shortness of breath.
In closure, write one paragraph about what you’ve discovered about your day and your health, and if there is anything you need to change to live a healthy life.
I discovered that I normally get tired and weak sometimes usually in the morning which I just came to realize that the cause is insufficient sleeping time i invoke upon myself in such a that the time i was suppose to be sleeping I will operating my phone, up till midday at times close to day break and the worst part is that I don't sleep in the afternoon because I go to work, since I realized this I stop sleeping late as well as started having a good sleep because the body actually needs rest and comfort sleeping well is part of it.
