I am grateful to God every time I encounter someone who is disabled in my neighborhood or anyplace in the globe. I am constantly in gratitude to God because I can only fathom how happy people with disabilities live their daily lives until they are unable to do so because of various circumstances. I'm grateful that my modest moderator @sahmie brought this contest to us. For setting up this competition, I would want to thank you.

what do you understand by "People living with Disabilities?"

When a person is unable to execute many tasks that others without impairments can do, such as using a smartphone, playing soccer, and cooking for themselves, their limits are deemed to be a disability.Any number of problems can be referred to as handicaps, such as mental illness, impairment, choice, and handicap.

How can we make it easier for people with disabilities to access things in our community?

I discuss my experience as a blind person with a disability.One way we could help a blind person in our neighborhood is by offering them a Braille book. To keep the blind person informed and able to use community resources more easily, we can use a tactile writing method to deliver news and announcements as well as information that they need to know.

By creating designated areas for them, we may also facilitate the access to items in our community for individuals with impairments. But which direction should these areas go? Water is obtained in my neighborhood from the Water Board, a public pump. For the disabled or those who assist them in stress-free water fetching, we have designated a unique area here. Their access to resources in our community is facilitated by doing this.

Give ways we can include and give equal opportunities to people with disabilities?

Because their bodies naturally need rest, we may create an online job that allows disabled people to work and receive an hourly wage, so giving them equal chances.

Paraplegics and other disabled people use wheelchairs to look for work. All businesses and industries should be wheelchair-accessible, and all entrances should be ramped so that wheelchair users may push their chairs through them. They would have equal opportunities as a result of this.

How can we help people with disabilities without invading their privacy or making assumptions?

To assist them, it is not advisable to try to anticipate their needs and desires. When we ask such people what they need to sustain themselves and be happy, they will be able to explain in detail rather than implying or making assumptions about us, and we may aid them without violating their privacy. and may cause them great harm.

How can we be supportive friends and allies to people with disabilities and their families?

I go above and above to support my neighbor's family, who has a disability.He utilizes a wheelchair because he is his parents' only living son.

I spend time with her, show her about, and assist her mom with grocery shopping when I visit their home twice a week.

My intention is to pay her a visit twice a week to make sure I remember.This is one method of helping individuals with disabilities and their families, in my opinion.

Conclusion

People without disabilities should be accepted and given accommodations in a range of settings since they are unable to walk like us. These individuals suffer from depression and require supportive relationships from others.Supporting and helping persons with disabilities is a duty that each of us has.
