Yes, most foods that we consume on a daily basis contains minerals and nutrients that gives us energy and strength to carry on with our daily activities. Foods with medicinal values mostly includes vegetables, fruits and also foods that contain protein, like beans, egg, fish, meat and cheese.
Although not all foods, foods such as junk foods do more harm than good to our bodies, because they fill up our bodies with fats and chemicals the are harmful and not needed into our bodies.

My personal list of foods that I consider to be medicinal includes;
Dark Green Leafy Vegetables:
Dark green leafs such as, pumpkin leafs, bitter leafs, spinach, cent leafs, curry leafs, are forever considered to be medicines for the body and excellent sources of nutrients including folate, zinc, calcium, iron, magnesium, vitamin C and fiber. Another of their important medicinal benefits is their potential ability to reduce your risk of chronic illnesses including heart disease and type 2 diabetes.Berries:
Berries such as raspberries, cranberries, strawberries, blueberries etc, are powerhouses for nutritions, vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants.
The strong medicinal benefits of berries includes their capacity to reduce risk of heart disease, cancer and other inflammatory conditions.
- Green Tea:
Green Tea popularly known to have originated from China, it is a lightly caffeinated beverage that has a wide array of medicinal benefits.
Green tea is rich in antioxidants and polyphenolic compounds which is said to possess strong anti-inflammatory effects to help the human body.
- Legumes:
Legumes are a class of plant foods made up of all kinds of beans, including soy, lentils, peas, peanuts and alfalfa.
They are medicinal because they’re loaded with nutrients that play a role in preventing and managing various diseases that can kill our bodies.
- Eggs:
Eggs are one of the healthiest foods. Whole eggs are know to be rich in many nutrients including vitamin B, choline, selenium, vitamin A, iron and phosphorus and high-quality protein.

In my own opinion the three best and proper ways to use to keep ourselves healthy are;
Ensure to keep to daily requirement of food consumption which is at least 3square meal a day.
Consume more of proteinous filled food during breakfast as protein gives energy and strength.
Avoid too much fried foods, as frying fills your body with too much calories and fats.

Of course, it's very important that food hygiene and food habit is taught in all schools from lowest educational level to the highest level of education. Because most adults today are very less aware of their bad eating habit and how it's affecting their health, and this most times is because of lack of proper training of good eating habit in during their school days.
It's very necessary if there'll even be a particular subject in schools that will be dedicated to food habit training only, because the at which health issues keep rising daily in the world is alarming and this sometimes is caused by improper consumption of food.

It's important that we are very aware of eating lifestyle and maintain a good eating habit. Yes, almost all food that we consume daily are medicinal to our bodies, but improper consumption of them can cause severe health problems for us.
