INTRODUCTION

I welcome you all to my blog, it's a pleasure to participate in this amazing contest organized by @mesola. Our contest focus is on herbs, or what we know as healthy herbs, we'll talk about the benefit of herbs, best herbs to take daily, negative and positive effects of herbs. I believe you guys will find it interesting. Am still @mhizta from Nigeria.

WHAT IS A HEALTHY HERB?

Is just someone asking, what is healthy food, we know that healthy food are those food that when eaten, it's nourishes our body by the nutrients, the same thing applies to healthy herbs this are herbs when taken, it's boosted our body system, adding nutrient to our diet.

WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF HERBS?

Here comes the benefit of herbs which is very important. Last week, I experience pain on my throat which I thought it's malaria, I find it uncomfortable to eat, so I complained it to my neighbor and she gave me this tiny herbs, it's pepperish and bitter, within 2 days, I recovered. it's means that's particular Herb has a healthy benefit right? that's true. Let's find out the other benefits of herbs.

  • Herbs help to digestion: Taking an herbs like ginger help to soothe the digestive system and reduce bloating, gas, and indigestion.

  • Herbs can be use to treat malaria, typhoid and jedi Jedi in yoruba (reducing sugars level). They call it agbo.

  • Herb helps in boosted immune system: Making use of herbs like thyme is good in antioxidants which is very good in boosting immune system.

  • Help helps in reducing inflammation: There are some herbs that have anti-inflammatory properties which help in reducing inflammation throughout the body.

  • Sleep medicine: They're some herbs that if you use them, they are good in calming and sleep-promoting effects in the body. They can help you to relax and get a good night's sleep.

WHAT IS THE BEST HERB TO TAKE DAILY?

Being in Yoruba land, I have come to more about their Herbs which is very effective. That's why bus drivers, keke riders and even working people here is Lagos always take it atleast once a day. which herbs is that?

In Yoruba is call agbo, it's a combination of different Herbs. Depending of what you're looking for, this agbo is effective if you have malaria, typhoid, fatigue, sleepy, headache, and even man power. You only have to tell the seller what you want she will immediately mix it for you.

The other herb I can recommend is lavender herbs and turmeric Herbs. Lavender herbs is an herbs with lovely scent, so if you feel like relaxing or sleeping, you can take lavender herbs. Secondly, turmeric is popular spices in the world, it's good in reducing pain, boosting brain function even to reduce stress. You can add or supplement turmeric to your food.

POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE EFFECTS IF HERBS

POSITIVE EFFECT OF HERBS

Let's discuss about the advantages of herbs:

  • Herbs helps in digestion.

  • Herbs like agbo is effective for malaria, typhoid, and jedi-jedi(reduced sugar levels)

  • Herbs helps to boost immune system and also to fight off infection.

  • Some herbs have antimicrobial properties which is effective to fight bacteria and viruses.

  • Some herbs are great for relaxation and sleep, like lavender which I mentioned.

NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF HERBS

  • Some herbs can interact with medication. For example, Jedi Jedi I mentioned, there some drug that you should avoid after taking it or before taking it.

  • Herbs like Agbo can be harmful or toxic if you misuse or abuse it. So it better to follow the recommended dosage instructions carefully to avoid negative effects of herbs.

CONCLUSION

Healthy herbs is good for body as it can help to boost our immune system, at the same time we should not abuse it because it might to harmful to our body. I hope you find it interesting like I said in the introduction.
