INTRODUCTION

Good evening my wonderful steemians, I believe you all are doing great this evening, I'm so happy to participate in this writing challenge which is all about the maintainance of heart and functions. The human heart is a four chambered muscular organ, shaped and sized roughly like a man's closed fist with two third of the mass to the left and midline. The heart is enclosed in a pericardial sac that is lined with the parietal layer's of a serious membrane. The heart also play's a vital role in our body by taking good care of our vital health and well being, I also come to notice that most of us are so careless with our heart and at the end we end up causing damages to our heart. In general, the function of the heart can also be thought of as a two story house with four chamber's, the heart it self is constructed of muscle tissue known as the myocardium. Muscle fibres are also the building blocks of the tissue. They are not only providing the power of pumping but also transmit electrical signals
throughout the heart.

Here are some question that just came out from my conclusion from the heart, they are as follows..

QUESTION (ONE)
Mention two types of heart?
They two types of heart that we have are as follows, the ventricles and the atrium are the two types of heart that we have.
The ventricles are the chamber's that pumps blood while the atrium are the chamber's that receive blood.

QUESTION (TWO)
How does the heart work to pump blood throughout the body and why is it essential for overall health?
The heart is a pump, usually beating about sixty to hundred times per. With each heartbeat, the heart sends blood throughout our bodies, carrying oxygen to everycell. After delivering the oxygen, the blood returns to the heart. The heart then sends the blood to the lungs to pickup more oxygen.

QUESTION (THREE)
What are the different types of heart diseases and risk factors that can lead to cardiovascular problems?
Leading risk factors for heart disease and stroke are high blood pressure, high low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, diabetes, smoking and secondhand smoke exposure, obesity, unhealthy diet, and physical inactivity.
