Yes, I have ever had a dry cough that was caused by environmental Irritants due to the dust and smoke that I inhale. There was a time that I and my team went for sanitization in one village when we inhaled a lot of dust on our way and returned home and even the motorcycle that we went with, was brought that led to the cause of me having a dry cough.

🤧 What home remedies have you used to calm an allergic cough?

I tried several things at home which helped me to calm the allergic cough. I took honey which helped me to clear congestion too. In the morning, I take 1 teaspoon of honey which I repeat both afternoon and night. During the night I mix the honey with warm water and drink.

Ginger and Peppermint were other things that helped to calm the allergic cough. I took ginger and peppermint to help clear my throat I bought fresh ginger mixed it with peppermint and turned them to juice, which I was also chewing the fresh ginger.

🤧 How long has a dry cough episode lasted and how do you manage it?

My dry cough episode lasted for about a week and I managed it via the home remedies that I have talked about. Also, I avoid inhaling dust and entering a vehicle or motorcycle that is bringing out smoke. I even started using a noise mask to prevent the inhaling of dust which helped me to protect myself from having dry cough again.

🤧 What are you allergic to that causes you to cough uncontrollably?

I think the avoidance of me not going to a remote area that is full of dust because of no tie road which is an area where almost everyone is using firewood to cook which I didn't go with my noise mask is the cause of the cough uncontrollably. Had it been I went to the place putting on my noise mask I wouldn't have had an allergic cough.

Visiting areas with lots of dust and smoke from firewood can indeed trigger coughing, especially if you have allergies or sensitivity to airborne particles such as dust, smoke, or other pollutants. Using a mask, especially one that can filter fine particles, can help protect the respiratory tract from these irritations. Good luck, my friend.

Thank you sir for your compliments.
