The heart is made up of four Chamber, two upper one's called atria and the two lower one's called ventricles. The right atrium performs the duty of carrying deoxygenated blood from the body. The right Ventricles performs the function of carrying blood to the Lungs for Oxygenation. The Oxygenated blood from the Lungs enters the Left Ventricle. The left Ventricle then contracts powerfully and pumps the Oxygenated blood throughout the body.

- Heart failure
As we all know, the heart is responsible for pumping blood in the body. When the heart is not able to pump blood it results to heart failure. Some of the major causes of these includes stress, high blood pressure e.t.c.
- Arrhythmia
This occurs when there is inconsistent heart beat. It can be too fast or too slow. It is caused by high blood pressure, hereditary, stress.
- Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
This type of heart disease occurs when plaque builds up in the arteries that supplies blood to the heart, thereby making it difficult for the arteries to supply blood. It is caused by High cholesterols, overweight, diabetes e.t.c.
- Heart Valve Disease
The heart is made up of four arteries that helps blood to flow efficiently in the body and when any of them is sick, it will affect the heart. It is caused by aging, heart attack e.t.c.

Several things can be done to keep the Heart healthy and some of them includes.

- Routine medical checkups
Don't wait till you're sicked to go to the hospital. Prioritize going for medical checkups. Monitor your cholesterol, blood pressure and sugar level regulary.
- Manage stress
Learn to manage stress because chronic stress can lead to Heart diseases.
