It can be defined as the practices we observe to promote our over all wellbeing.
How do you prioritize self-care in your daily routine? |

I prioritize my self care by doing the following.
- Adequate sleep
I try to sleep atleast 7-9 hours every night in a quiet and comfortable environment.
- Exercise regularly
Exercise helps to relieve stress, one of the exercises I do is trekking.
- Doing things that makes me happy
I also do things that makes me happy like hanging out with friends, staying with my loved ones, reading e.t.c.
- Self care and love
No one can love me the way I do, so I try as much as possible to make myself happy.
- Self discovery and development
I invest on myself alot, I read good books, do researches and watch good movies.
- invest on relationships
No man is an island, so I try as much as possible to maintain good relationships with family and friends.
- Eating adequate diet
I always eat a balanced diet, drink plenty of water and also try as much as possible to eat organic meals.

Self care routines like healthy eating, exercise helps to promote good health.

By making self care a priority, it makes people better and also helps to maintain good relationships.

I do this by creating a balance for my work life and my personal life. I try as much as possible take care of myself first before anything else because it's primary. I also set boundaries by saying no and declining commitment that would stress me.

I try as much as possible to sleep 7 hours daily, it helps to keep me in check.

Eating food that are healthy for my body.

I also spend time in nature, it usually has a calming effect on me.

This is one of the things that gives me joy.
