In our life, at least once we eat to deal with our emotion in the place of physical satisfaction, this is called stress eating.The other name of stress eating is emotional eating. This is happen when we are sad or having much stress. When some do against our expectations and we want something other than it,we eat to distract to negative feelings, then stress eating occurs. We stress eat can food that contain high in sugar, fat and salt, these can give comfort or pleasure for few time but eating stress habit lead to many diseases.

Stress eating creates many negative effects on our health, some are these:
Weight Gain:
Stress eating can lead us to weight gain. Particularly when we eat unhealthy foods in stress and that can lead to weight gain.
Nutritional Imbalance:
Nutritional imbalance can in the case of over eating. It involve junck food that has lack of necessary nutrients.
Health Issues:
Stress eating creates different health issues. This can lead us like obesity, diabetes, fat and heart problems.

Emotional Guilt:
Mostly people feel regret or shame after stress eating. They fight their emotional state.
Disrupted Eating Patterns:
It can lead to irregular eating times and a lack of mindful eating habits.
Reduced Stress Tolerance:
By stress eating we reduce our stress tolerance. We can prevent finding our stress management techniques.
Cycle of Emotional Eating:
It creates a loop where stress leads to eating and it causes more stress.

Yes, once I felt stress eating. In 2020 I was the student of MBA. In the time of my university exams, I got experience of stress eating for the first time. I want to perform well in exams, the pressure to perform well and meet with much of stress. Instead of taking breaks or telling about my stress to friends, I went to food for comfort. I ate potato finger very much. I also took snacks, chocolates and sugary drinks. At first, it felt good, that food distracted me from my discomfort. But very soon, I noticed I have eaten much than my hunger. At the end of the day, I felt bloated, sluggishband guilty for taking so much junk.
This foolish act made me even more stressed. I leaned from my this experience and make promise to myself not to do again this.
