Today, I'm excited to give you a glimpse into a day in my life for Healthy Steem community contest entry. I will share with you how I spend today with you all focusing on how I manage my health. This will be the last day of season 11. So it is extra special to end the season 11 with this topic.
It's the weekend so the first thought is to spend that extra hour on the bed. The weather is on my side too, with the chill breeze and small drizzle from the morning sky 🌧️. But how unfortunate that my wife has an appointment at 06.30am and she was repeatedly telling me to get off the bed! So, with a broken heart, I got up at 6.00am to start the SUNDAY!.
If you've been following my previous contest entries, you might already know that I'm following intermittent fasting to control my insulin levels. That means no breakfast for me, I'll head straight to lunch in the day. However in order to make my stomach a happy place I have to drink loads of water. So, the first thing I do as I clean myself is have a full glass of water. Hydration is key when you want to live healthy!
This is my usual eating pattern now. Occasionally, I might stretch dinner past 8:00 pm, but I always compensate by pushing back my lunch to 2:00 pm. It's all about maintaining a 16+ hour fasting window. Surprisingly, after a week or so, I stopped craving breakfast altogether. It's amazing what our bodies can adapt to when we train them.
Since we left home early, we haven't had time to prepare anything at home. So we had to purchase something from outside. Being a weekend we wanted to try Indian food so we visited to an Indian food joint in Piliyandala.

That was a very satisfying lunch. Indian food has a special place in my heart and whenever I need a change from usual Sri Lankan food, I go for Indian delights.
After work, we headed home a bit earlier than usual, because it was a long day already coming to work early in the morning. So we bought some snacks to have tea at home. When we got to the home our kind neighbors gifted us some sweets which they had made. Our small snack became a big food plate just like that! I love sitting outside for a while watching the sun set in the sky. All the birds fly away for their home. These scenes make me incredibly relaxed. With rain and cloudy skies we had a really nice evening.
We couldn't stay outside much longer because it started to drizzle again and we had to retreat indoors. Then we caught up on some YouTube teledramas before calling it an early night. Now I'm finishing my diary to get to the bed.
That's a wrap on my day! I felt pretty unfortunate to wake up so early in the morning on a rainy day, but I completed most of my work because I had so much extra time in the morning hours. Then outside lunch was superb. Evening we spent with a lot of serenity and the overall day was perfect 😊.

Types of food, how to eat and eating schedules are things that are often forgotten. But after reading your writing I was inspired because you fast. You skip breakfast and even enjoy lunch at 14.00 in the afternoon.
Correct! hydration will put pressure on the physical and mental so that water must be consumed maximum every day.

I'm really happy to hear that my story inspired you! I believe less food in stomach is the best way to live. However, you gotta do it safely and make schedules work for your lifestyle. I surprised to know that you skipped your breakfast but its quite good to intake all healthy meals which are full of nutrients. Intake of excess water accordingly to our body need is also good habit for healthier life . Thanks for participating. Good luck

I know at first it will feel like a silly thing to do thinking about the nutrients. but there are a lot of researches done in this subject which has successful result. Practically I'm enjoying some of the benefits right now. Thank you for dropping by and good luck to you too!

Uy amigo debe ser fuerte para ti tener que tomar pastillas a diario pero debes cuidar tus niveles de azúcar para que no se complique tu salud.
