Guava is a tropical fruit plant. Guava is shaped like a bell at the end there is a crown or petals of the fruit. The color of this fruit varies from white, green, green yellow, pink, bright red, to dark red. The outer skin is shiny as if coated with wax. The white flesh contains a lot of water and it is like foam. As the name suggests, guava has a high water content. Guava comes in many forms and has many benefits. Such as vitamins C and A, fiber, calcium, thiamine, niacin, potassium, myricetin, hexahydroxiflavones, phenolics, flavonoids, and iron. All of these benefits can be used as antimicrobial, antioxidant, antihyperglycemic, and anti-cancer properties. So it is very good if consumed regularly to improve and maintain health. The fresh sweet and sour taste makes it often served in the form of fruit salads or pickles. In addition, guava also stores some important ingredients that have a variety of benefits for the health of the body, namely:

Guava contains jambosine, which is a type of alkaloid compound that shows good results in preventing or regulating the conversion of starch into sugar in the body.
