Good day to you all on the platform, I trust and hope you are all doing by God’s grace. It is a pleasure of excitement to be participating in this interesting contest in the community, I would like to thank and show appreciation to @dove11 for making it possible.
I was so excited to see this contest in the contest alerts by @disconnect, thank you very much for your great work and more cheese to you I wish. Having seeing it I was so excited and couldn’t wait to also write about my first crush. Our contest organizer @dove11 has already said a lot about what having a crush on some means, and which are undeniable true and I will agree to it. A crush may simply be a short and temporary emotion that we experience at someone of the opposite gender. I think it is mostly associated with children and teenagers more than adults. That feeling sometimes gets us in all sort of emotions and imaginable thoughts of the person.

Growing up myself I think all I’ve had are crushes, my friends even teasingly call me “Silence Romeo” because of the number of girls I attend to have a crush on but will never approach any of them, not even once. I believe that it is just temporary feeling and would go away once I start to know the person well or when the days pass by and I’ve been right most of the time. Today I have an opportunity to tell you about my first crush so far as I can remember and what a very interesting story it was.
As I said earlier on, all I’ve had are crushes. I’ve had different on crushes on different girls different places. And my first crush so far as I can remember was a very special someone who happened to be on the steemit platform as well. She even introduced to steemit, ladies and gentlemen she is in the person of Mukarrama Habib (@mukka).
The story of how she became my first crush was so interesting to me every time I think of it. It was back in 2014 in our basic school days, we were in the same but in different block throughout the primary stage of our education. So I never really saw her even though she has been in the school for more than six years just like me. It took until our final year in the primary school before I saw her, when we were about to write an entrance to the Junior High School level.
We were all nervous about the examination, the first paper being English language. We had gathered, all of us from block A and B of the primary school and as well as students from other schools who wished to join in on the examination. As we were seated in the exams room waiting for the paper, I continued to hear some murmuring behind me. Who could those be I asked myself, aren’t they nervous about the exams and talkless of making noise in the exams room? So I decided to turn my head around to see those making the noise, and behold that was the time I saw her. Glowing like a celestial in mix of her colleagues, a very fair and beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t help it but continue to stare and admire her beauty until it seems she almost looked into my eyes, then I quickly turned my face from her direction. She was wearing the school uniform so I knew she was also a student of the school, in block B she had to be I said. Then I continue to look at her secretly, I couldn’t stand her catching me staring at her. Suddenly I forgot about my nervousness for my exams and all I could think of was her and how incredibly beautiful she was. And I even admire her confidence or was it stupidity if she was caught, in still talking in the exams hall.
After the paper that day I quickly asked my friends if they know her, and luckily some of them did know her. I was kind of surprise and jealous at the same time of how I couldn’t notice such a beauty in the school for my stay in it for six good years, and jealous that my friends knew her and I didn’t, how naïve thoughts.

I can’t really tell for that first time because of how long it has been, but I ended up with her in the same class after we passed the entrance exams to the JHS. I still couldn’t believe fair and beautiful she looked, and I’ll always avoid eye contact with as much as I can. And anytime it seems our eyes looked at each other, I’ll quickly turn my face and make it look like I was looking around the class and not staring at her.
I never talked to her for like the first semester in the first year, and that was kind of on me because she was really open and friendly to people and also very much of a talkative. She was always talking in class the most time I stare at her, and wasn’t a bad student either. I would always feel nervous whenever I get pass by her or meet her face to face in the class coincidentally. It took until our second and third year that those emotions and feelings for her were gone. And it was due to the fact that we changed classes so I couldn’t see her again much of the time, so my mind gradually went off from her. Which was a good thing because I could finally concentrate more in class and not think about doing something that will make notice me….hehehe!
I have never told her about this experience ever, so this I think is the best opportunity for her read about it. It has been nostalgic writing about these moments once again and I enjoyed a bit of it, thank you all for reading and I wish you all the best. I invite @mukka, @kataali and @habdallah to join the contest too.
Well, at least it I'm glad it was the second thing in your mind 😝
The sad part is she haven't replied yet 🙈 but I hope you got a private message.
