Hi friends,

My husband's niece's wedding reception took place the day before yesterday. These incidents have been going on for the past week. We left for our niece's house a day early as the wedding was held at a wedding hall 100 km away from our town. After performing some formal rituals at their house, we feasted for two days and left for the wedding hall the day before yesterday morning. We reached the hall around 2 PM, took some rest, and got ready to leave for the wedding reception.

When we reached the hall there was already decoration work going on to decorate the hall and the reception stage was very beautifully decorated.

Separate rooms were reserved for the bride and groom in the hall, where the bride was ready for her departure in the bridal chamber. A make-up artist was brought in exclusively for the bride, who spent the whole day doing make-up on the bride's various outfits and jewelry.

While we were getting ready in our assigned room, our other relatives were getting ready in their respective rooms as we were, then my kids took pictures with their cousins, we bought my son a navy blue suit for this wedding reception and he looked so handsome after he put it on. His cousins were also in suits and he took pictures with them

The bride is then escorted to the reception platform, while the groom is also escorted to the reception platform. After that, we were busy with the reception with our family so we couldn't take any other pictures but the photographers were taking pictures and it will be another week before they arrive. Whereas many relatives and friends kept coming for the wedding functions, we were very careful and PC to welcome them and entertain them. Around 9.45 pm the crowd started to thin out and after that, we took both the bride and groom to the dining hall and gave them a feast.

The dinner was deliciously served and the food menu had a variety of dishes, all based on the South Indian culture, for example, idli, uthappam, puri, sweets, sambar, chutney varieties, paneer kurma, vada, kambu soru, biryani etc.
Apart from that, there were separate counters for cool drinks, hot drinks, dessert ice cream, sweet pan, fruit salad etc.

After that some games and shenanigans took place, food was served to the bride and groom and we all had dinner together. After dinner, we had to prepare the bride for the next event so we sent the bride and groom to their room and we also went to our room to get ready for the next event. Since there will be more events to come and their photos will also be more, I am going to end this diary with this and write other events in the next diary.
