Hey steemians! How are you all doing? I am Nishika and today I am gonna be sharing an easy breakfast recipe i.e. Upma, it is an appetising South Indian breakfast dish made from rava but I have given this recipe a different tint and I used minimum ingredients and that in lockdown it will be convenient to make this.
Ingredients we'll use:
Rava(Suji, semolina)
Urad Pulse
Tomatoes
Onions and green chilli
Maggie masala
Salt to taste
Pinch of Kashmiri Red Chilli powder
Step 1-The very first step is to add tadka, so at fist pour the oil on the vessel and leave it for 10 sec then add Urad pulse and shown below.
Step 2-Then I am adding green chillies, onion and tomatoes and fry them until onion turn into little golden. Then add salt to taste.
Step 3-And I am going to take Maggie masala, this particular step is the game changer, it will turn a boring dish into an yummylicious one.
Step 5-Then add rava and stir it well and fry rava until it turns little golden.
Step 6-Add water into the mixture and stir it until rava will absorb all the excess water and then add Kasturi Red chilli powder.
Step 7-Leave it for 1min into low flame and now ow our upma is ready. Serve it on your favourite plate.
