Dear friends,
How are you all? I hope you all are fine and doing great. Today I am here to share some pieces of information related to cyber security.
Last year I went through a phishing attack, and from that time, I tried to learn about how these things happen and how they can impact us.
Introduction |

It's a modern technology that protects electronic systems, networks, servers, and data from malicious attacks on computers and mobile devices.
An evolving set of cybersecurity devices developed to safeguard confidential data from unauthorized access.
It belongs to a few categories such as:
Operational security, Information security, Application security, End-user education, business continuity, Internet of Things (IoT) security, Critical infrastructure security, etc.

Now in this twenty-first century, we become habituated to different gadgets;
Whether in personal or professional life, we all are dependent on several devices.
Everything comes with some advantages and disadvantages, and because of that;
We often face different challenges related to our data security.
To secure data and information from threats;
cybersecurity takes the initiative and manages our accounts from harmful performers and damage.

- Physical Security for Devices: A common mistake we always follow while working with our device.
We leave our device open (without locking) most of the time; when we follow this practice in a crowd like- meetings, traveling, etc.
So it is always good to secure our gadget with a strong password(a combination of at least ten letters, numbers, and symbols).
- Backups and Updates: In every case, we need to back up the data regularly and update our system's anti-virus. Some regular practice can help us to save our data and pieces of information.
- Never fall for pop-ups: We often receive fraudulent e-mails; where they asked for a username and password to win some prizes.
We should never entertain those emails. We must try to visit the site directly by using our browser; rather than share our private passwords.
- Handle our social media settings:- Never share private information on an open platform because cyber criminals can effortlessly get the data.
- Protect yourself from identity threats:- One
thing I would like to add here is when we went to visit various shopping malls;
a few people ask for phone numbers for diverse reasons, never share your number with any unknown people.
They sell your number to others, and that's how often we get into the trap of cybercriminals.
- Educate children about cybercrime:- Now, most children often spend their maximum time with different gadgets;
and because they are more curious than elders.
Because of that, they often go to visit unknown sites that are not safe;
so we must teach them how to handle the gadgets and educate them about cybercrime.
Apart from the above a few more things we should maintain to avoid the cybercrime
Strengthen your home network,
Protect your financial details,
Use a full-service internet security suite.
Always secure our internet network with a strong encryption password and a VPN
We must educate ourselves about what to do if we become a victim of cybercrime.
We must be apprehensive about your online banking, credit card, or financial movements.

My elder sister and I both went through a cyber attack. My sister lost her money from her bank account because she was not aware of those fraud calls asking for CVV numbers.
I also mentioned at the beginning that I faced phishing attacks on this platform.
I learned that we must keep our passwords safe somewhere else rather than save them on e-mail, or inside the phone.
Another thing once you finish your task remember to log out because often we keep ourselves logged in and for that reason, these cyber criminals easily reach to hack our accounts.
Apart from that, never click on such links that are sent from unknown people.
That's all for today. I hope the details I shared will be helpful for you all. Stay tuned and keep continuing your visit and support. Stay healthy, safe, and happy.
Regards

Cyber security is an important topic for entrepreneurs. I never believed that hackers could cause great damage to my account until I started a business. Before I had a stable source of income, in my social networks and cloud storage, you could only find photos of my pets, my girls, and so on. But since I became an entrepreneur, I've realized the importance of data encryption and protection. I've been hacked many times. Every time there is a suspicious connection to my accounts, I call penetration testing melbourne. This company specialists check my systems. This allows me to instantly detect a hacker, find his home address and contact the police. I've done this many times. The hacker never had time to steal money from my bank account.
