Death is an inevitable end that humans will take, this simply means, death is one aspect that we all must accept that it exists and be prepared for it.

In my Religion, Christianity, to live is Christ and to die in Him is gain. Our Lord and personal Savior died and resurrected after 3 days. This gives us the assurance that at His second coming we shall all resurrect. Thus to die in Christ is gain.

But most at times, even with this assurance, no matter the age and time spent on earth, death always present itself as a shock or surprise, we are never ready.
In a few conditions or scenario that it may happen that you may have an estimated time to live for which you will.
Most at times these scenarios are terminal diseases that may be recieving palliative care.

What activies can someone do if the person actually knows that he or she has just 24 hrs left is a question that needs an intrinsic answer. This answer is stirred from within because its like putting or imagining yourself in that situation before writing. I will start with things that i wouldn't do before getting to the activity that i will do.

Things i wouldn't do if i realized i have just 24 hrs to live

• i wont go through the stages of impending death ; there are 5 stages in this phase; denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance the duration of each stage varies per individual. These stage are usually the circle followed by most people especially those that didn't see death coming or least expected it. I wont write in details about this stages but its optional for everyone to go through it, 24hrs isn't enough time to do all these. I will skip all these stages to the final acceptance stage, so i can have peace.

• i wont gather love ones and families
  Suprising right!!! Gathering everyone will give them a clue that something is wrong thus the time spent wont of good quality as they will be crying.

• i wont look shabby or cranky
  Will try to avoid all these and look good.

Things i will do if i realized i have 24hrs to live

• Genuine Repentance
  24hrs is enough to ask God for forgiveness and become born again. Because there's no repentance in the grave, "Rev 3;20, say the Lord is ready as He stands at the door and knocked, who so ever is ready to open, He is ready to enter".
  The worst thing is to die without making heaven. For some minutes or hours, i will use to ask God for Mercy and that He may grant me entrance in His kingdom.

• leaves a message for everyone
  Rather than inviting them, i could leave a message for them. Depending on the strength left, i could record or write to each of them or collectively.

• invite my inner circle and Bless them
  These maybe children or grandchildren or spouses, i will invite them without giving a clue, maybe at different intervals without having a long face and pray with them and bless them and if possible remind them individually of the good times we had and thank them.

• listening to my favorite worship song
  I will ask everyone to give me space while listening to my favorite worship song, this may be at the last minutes of the time. Music is good to the soul. Wish to be listening to that special song while i transit to my permenent home.

I wish we could all know this last 24hrs, it could be amazing but since we dont know, we should spend each day as if its our last day on earth. We should carryout activities like charity when we can, we should be happy, live in peace, tell our love ones that we love, show and Express this love, because we dont know the hour or time when we will be unable to do all these.
