Hello Everyone
We can see white colour line drawn in the edge of the road and the line drawn in the middle of the road is broken. Each and every line denote something in road.
Today we are going to see about different colour lanes, why it is used, how to follow the lines in Indian roads.
Almost all of them are not following the lane rules in India. Now only I learned about the lane rules that were followed in India. Like me you can also learn about lane rules from my post and follow it.

1. Broken White Line:

Around our country we can see Broken White line in most of the places. The broken white line in road gives you the permission to change between lanes, overtake the front vehicle and take U-turns. But you need to check that the road is clear and it is safe to perform your action.
2. Continuous White Line:
Source
Continuous White Line means you are not allowed to change lanes, overtake other vehicles before you or take U-turns. If you are on this road, just keep moving straight. This type of road is mostly in hills. You can change lane only in Emergency condition.
3. Continuous Yellow Line:

In Continuous Yellow Line, overtaking in your lane is allowed but changing the lane or U turn is not allowed from both sides.
4. Double Continuous Yellow Line:

In Double Continuous Yellow Line, changing the lane or overtaking the vehicle before you or U turn is strictly prohibited. This is the most strict road in the list. It is in dangerous 2 lane road.
5. Broken Yellow Line:

In Broken Yellow Line, you can overtake the vehicles or change the lanes or U turn any time. It is safe doing this activities. This is the driver friendly road also. It is drawn where there is less traffic or no vehicles on the road.
6. Solid Yellow Line with Broken Yellow Line:

This is a different type of road, In this road you can overtake or change the lane or U turn from the broken line side. But in Solid line side, all these activities are strictly prohibitted.
